after somes research i can'T finally determine if it can be the case of mosfet or igbt but it look definitively one of them ,, need motivation to takeover this project ,,
did i can only replace the 60 V rail by 12V rail low amp , just to test it without blowing anything ? , i fear this mini mig solderComment

i have 2 of them , with an atmega168 tester sold on ebay the 2 that was not blown resulted that
firt one
second :
both 2 others was blown and not able to test them
i have put this project in standby because im temporary overdosed by theses SVi'S history

i really sure that on a good road , the P-jfet is probably the P-MOS , and other is probably the N-MOS , i really hate retarded unidentified electronic parts

i will make other test with somes mosfet ans i will drop down voltage to make it more compatible with my parts maybe this power module will revive some day

I was thinking about this concept recently, it would be excellent to be able to refurbish these STK and SVI IC packages!!!
Can you tell me how you opened the modules? Did you use heat to melt the glue? I have had no success trying so far, but I did get one open by cutting into it with a dremel, but that was a bit messy... :PComment

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.
