    Laser CNC

Laser CNC, board MPC6515 driver panel PAD03 V1.2. In PAD03 V1.2 quartz resonator is broken. question - to what frequency was it. I try 12MHz but not succes.

    Re: Laser CNC

if you know the part number on the microcontroller then you can look up the crystal it probably uses
so lift the sticker and see whats under it

It might be a mpc89e58, similar to a 8051, it should use a 12mHz crystal, Did you try an actual crystal or a ceramic resonator?

I try 12MHz but not communication with MPC6515

I will try another frequencies. I'm using now an 8MHz quartz resonator now, it shows the same message, but currently I don't have a communication checking machine. I will check on popular frequencies while in the company.

Check and see if it has a low voltage detection ic chip because some micro controller use this type of device and it will cause it to keep trying to restart in a loop

It would be located on the 5 volt rail near the micro controller input pin the device is normally a 3 pin device look at the data sheet for what would a low voltage detection circuit

Resonator - quartz broken - how to find the same (same frequency) ?
            by corrize
Hello, I have a Fujifilm hybrid camera with an issue : the time don't run. I set 12:00 and 3 min later, the same : 12:00
I saw an obvious root cause : a broken quartz (resonator). But with the box broken, I can't read the marking code. Probably : 464… or A64…
I found on the web a picture of the same camera board but with marking code very different. Probably : A7…5N
I'm searching another one for compare…
Do you have an idea or another way for find the frequency of this resonator please ?
(I did not found the manufacturer of this component ? And I did not found the...

            Hello friends,

Its been a while, i wish you an happy new year 2025 !

I have this laptop doesn't start, power light up a second when pluging USB-C charger.
            Laptop take 0.11A.
All signals and voltages before SLP_S4# are OK but no SLP_S4# , S3...

I get no oscilation on XTAL 32.768 KHZ
Battery is not charging but charging led is here.
PCH heat at 30° approximatively. (with no heatsink)

I think this crystal might be dead, i have only boardview giving me this: XTAL 32.768KHZ 12.5PF/20PPM.
            It's a 2 pins Crystal.

Hilti PD30 Laser Range meter Error 276
            by Dannyx
Good day folks.....wow, seems like forever since I posted anything here Still alive and well, thank you I guess you could say I've become more independent and able to work stuff out on my own. This one though goes way over my head and I doubt is fixable, but maybe some bright spark out there has an equally bright idea.

So: my Hilti PD30 laser meter quit on me just the other day. It was working fine, I set it down for a while and when I tried using it again it gave me an E276 and wouldn't do anything else. I tried taking out the batteries, all that standard stuff but nothing...

Power DeWalt 12V laser measure from power supply
            by dansity
            Hello,
i got a Dewalt laser measure which uses the 12V batteries to operate. The laser measure is faulty and I want to attempt a repair, never fixed such thing before. You might see a different topic if I fail with the repair
However I do not have dewalt batteries nor want to buy one for 140EUR as the laser tool might have some chance that it is very hard to repair or unrepairable.
I want to power it from my PSU.
The tool has 3 input pins, on the battery it is marked with B-, B+ and ID/TH.
i want to know what is the third pin exactly and what do I need...

I would like an explanation of how a laser can measure a product on a conveyor belt
            by sam_sam_sam
            I saw this on

“How do they do it “

The laser was measuring the diameter and the height of the product and the weight of the product and it was a straight line laser light across the the conveyor belt ( this is all that was shown in the video clip of the laser that was used )

What type of product is this that can do this

I want to thank anyone that knows what of laser this is
