You should not go lower Id rating than original.
You should not go higher Rds(on) rating than original.
You should not go lower BVDSS than original.
You should not higher VGS (th) than original.
You should not go lower power dissipation than the original.
etc...........
May be you should learn more about MOSFET so you will understand more about it.
The link I gave you is wrong, those are P-CH so they will not work since you have N-CH.

I know this is an old post but I thought I'd ask anyway. Can a qm3056m be replaced with a qm3058m?

It appears that the qm3058m is a higher spec version of the same MOSFET but I wanted to be sure.

Without issue, did the same thing on one Asus laptop board.

And what if mosfets with Ids = 110A (2 phase VRM) are used in a laptop with 15W Intel 4415U? I do believe Vgs(th) and Rds(on) will be nice to follow, but Ids shall be quite lower. I think they used them because they've got a lot of them in a stock
