Lenovo Yoga 370 LA-E292P no power on VCCCPUCORE, VCCGFXCORE_I, VCCSA
Hi everyone, having LA-E292P on a desk, there was some light corrosion around PU137 (NCP81218) - cleaned with fiberglass pen + ispropyl alcohol. All basic rails are ok (3.3, 5, 1.2, 12 , charging ok), except the VCCCPUCORE, VCCGFXCORE_I, VCCSA. All these are driven by NCP81218 + 3x NCP81382, HIGH state on CPUCORE_ON, but LOW on DRVON which enabled those 3 NCP81382. Tried to connect 3.3V from CPUCORE_ON to DRVON, but measured LOW after this. Resistance between those rails and GND are 6 / 9 / 19 ohms. Any suggestion what else to check. Thanks -

I bought same switch, but Ver.11 and it looks completely different... Whatever, will put an order on Ali to get the ICs, and use some step downs to test. Will be a pain to solder/check that TQFP-216.
At least SPI EEPROM is readable, and there isn't anything else to be broken....Leave a comment:

I forgot to connect step down 48->12 between battery and devices. Also Synology DS923+ died... That's when one used same connectors on both sides. Not the opposite polarity, but 4x voltage 
...

Hi all, I've been using external 12V PSU for this switch, but mistakenly connected it to 48V. Better do not ask how
I'm going to rescue it, will replace both chips (shorted to ground), but both switching controllers were burnt as well.
3.3V controller unreadable, SOT23-6.
1.1V removed and forgot to note the remaining markings
Anyone with same switch available to check? In a worst case, I'll use 2 step-down modules instead... Thanks... -

Hi, having the same board on a desk (i5-6200U), with same issue. Let's inject more amps, I've used ~3A to have ~4W for dissipation, then you can identify source easily. In my case it's smaller die on a CPU package. Strange that is probably third board with 6th Gen Intel with same issue.

So, after long waiting, connectors have arrived, so I've replaced one on a motherboard. Voila, HDD detected, audio detected and working. Thanks for suggestions.
