    What is this electronic component?

Found this in my junk pile. I'm pretty sure it's a hall effect sensor but not sure:

    - What type it is
    - Pinout
    - specifications on what I can do with it

Any guesses on its complete identity?

Hard to say -- where did it (likely) come from? (from where did your junk pile collect its parts?)

If its a HE sensor, it will either have a digital output or be ratiometric (some percentage of the supply voltage varying with the intensity of the field).

Digital devices have limited application domains -- though can save on "other" components if you are really only interested in an ON/OFF sort of signal. This could be the case for BLDC controllers. You can also use them as "isolated switches". I use several as weatherproof pushbuttons cuz I can "pot" the sensor and connections and just pass a fixed magnet near it to "press" the button. Because there are no exposed conductors or mechanism, I can hose the "button" down with a garden hose and not risk a failure.

Analog/ratiometric devices can always be used where digital ones are used -- but with the caveat of additional signal conditioning circuitry (this can be an asset or a liability). I've used "bare sensors", in the past, in current sensors (place the device in the magnetic field of a small xformer and sense the strength of the field).

With some calibration, you can use them to sense proximity (in "engineering units" instead of just go/nogo -- i.e., the device is 0.12 inches away from the sensor)

You can use them to sense shaft rotation, mechanism position, etc. Anything where contactless sensing may be of value (relying on the magnetic field to convey the "contact" information in much the same way that reflective or interrupted optical sensors use light).

If you have just one (or a few), its probably not worth holding onto it/them. OTOH, a bag of hundreds seems to beg for some sort of "application".

[If they aren't begging to be discarded, just set them aside until a use comes to mind]

Sounds like a linear Hall-effect sensor and The packaging is 3-pin sip, matrix hd style (suffix ua). Maybe this page will help :

Meaco Arete One / Deye Dehumidifier not working
        by CG2
I've got a dehumidifier that has stopped working. Plug it in, press the power switch, and it beeps 5 times. Nothing showing in the display (which is just two 7 segment displays) apart from the two decimal points flashing. The model is a MeacoDry Arete One 18L, which seems to be a rebadged Deye (all the boards are marked Deye). Here's what I've got so far (details in case anyone else in future should need them).

Starting with the power board. Mains power comes in at the red connector top left. The compressor is powered by the orange connector to the right of that and is switched by...

Google Pixel 5 - Proximity Sensor Issues - Reflow/Replacement procedure tipps wanted
        by groomit
        Hi,
I just replaced the battery on a Google Pixel 5.
After that the proximity sensor isn't functioning properly any more. It is constantly activated. So when playing a voice message on Whatsapp, the Screen instantly turns off.
Checking with a sensor app I can verify weird behavior of the sensor. It is triggered when nothing is near and sometimes works correctly when squeezing the phone next to the sensor hole.
The rubber seal is on again (as mentioned in various suggestions in other forums).

This smells like a cold or broken solder joint. So I'd like to reflow...

Soldering plastic low profile FPC close camera CMOS sensor ?
        by corrize
Hello, I will have to solder a very small FPC connector (pins : 0.3mm), on the pcb of CMOS sensor, it is very close. I was surprised by movie on ytb, someone soldering directly with hot air directly on the sensor without kapton, nothing.
CMOS sensor seems resist to high temps.
But I also directly saw sensor broken because a blocked motor at the corner became very hot and probably bent the metal frame and cracked the sensor.

I have low melting point solder.
I will probably test hot air directly on one of plastic connector (I have a lot) at 320 degree on a test

AcuRite 5 in 1 temperature sensor replacement repair
        by CapLeaker
        Got a new victim:

AcuRite 5 in 1 Iris outdoor weather station not updating the temperature / humidity anymore. The original sensor is a SHT21. Also there are identical other sensor manufacturers. I chose the HTU21D to replace the original SHT21. Both have identical specs. I've had two failure modes with these sensors.
A: outside temp stuck at -40? It's cold here at times in Canada, but not that cold!
B: stuck at some temperature and maybe updating once in 12 hrs or so.

Easy solution is to go to AcuRite website and purchase the sensor. Right?...

        OLED65G6P-U.BUSWLJR Temperature sensor issue
        by drake441335
I am a very beginner at tv repairs. I am trying to fix my tv before I end up buying a new one. I do not know names of boards, but I will do my best to explain what I have done so far.
Tv is an LG OLED65G6P manufactured in april 2016. I had a warranty on it till September of 2021. Warranty is done. The problem I am having is when I turn the tv on after about two or so minutes a popup comes up and says the temperature sensor issue, and then it powers itself off. The tv works as designed, picture, sound, wifi, settings and everything, before it just powers itself down.
        So i did what any...
