we are on the same boat! I really thought about dead-time because he said it is importance.
The HCPL-3120 includes a Propagation Delay Difference (PDD) specification intended to help designers minimize βdead timeβ in their power inverter designs. Dead time is the time period during which both the high and low side power transistors (Q1 and Q2 in Figure 25) are off. Any overlap in Q1 and Q2 conduction will result in large currents flowing through the power devices between the high and low voltage motor rails.

Hi,
I'm learning about motherboard repair and I believe I've traced the issue down for the South Bridge on the particular motherboard I'm working on. My path of concluding that:
- There's no sign of any attempt to power on when pushing the power button.
- No PSON signal is reaching the 24-pin ATX connector.
- The Super IO chip is receiving the PS_SWITCH signal from the power button and is relaying this signal back to the South Bridge.
- The Super IO is not receiving the S_SLPS#_R signal back from the South Bridge
- If I pull the Super IO S_SLPS#_R pin... -
Bad symptoms when Ivy Bridge CPU (3rd-gen 22nm) is installed:- Won't boot OS (just blank screen or stucks at asus logo, monitor is turned on) with hangs at debug (post) code A3;
- USB stick with MS-DOS can be loaded via F8 boot menu;
- Other OSes won't load - hangs or goes reboot;
- Postponed for several seconds reaction to Alt-Ctrl-Del, Reset and Power buttons;
- An operating system starts loading but won't finish if it's left only 1 CPU core in BIOS settings;
- Cleared CMOS many times;
- Flashed different versions of BIOS in a CH341 programmer;

hello.
I have two power amplifiers, both having their IGBT blown on the PSU.
The original mounted IGBT where marked with IRGB20B60PD1PbF and the gate driver is a IR2156STRPBF.
I looked at mouser and digikey and could not find any available IRGB20B60PD1PbF and somehow ended up using a Bourns BIDW20N60T.
I replaced the gate driver, the gate resistor and both IGBT. But as soon power is turned on, both IGBT shorts out completely (gate, emitter, collector) and the fuse on the AC line gets killed.
So I though i missed a capacitor or diode. I removed... -
I have a Gainward GTX 295 with two PCB's which has a broken SLI bridge ribbon cable. As a result, the card is entirely useless and I'd really like to fix it if possible.
I've searched eBay and AlieExpress but haven't been able to find the part.
I believe this same SLI bridge cable is used on the Nvidia 9800 GX2 and the GTX 295 which both have two PCB's.
Can anyone help me on where to get a replacement SLI bridge cable please? -
