IMO a curve tracer is something for museums.

Hantek 6022BE USB Port pulled out
                  by Vanillaboard
                  Hello everyone,

I'm currently working on a Hantek 6022BE where the USB port and vias have been ripped off the PCB. Here are the steps I've taken so far:
                  1. Power Supply: I've tapped the power supply next to the via from the tracer.
                  2. GND: I've successfully connected the GND as well.
                  3. Data Lines: I soldered the D+ and D- lines directly to the USB controller (CY7C68013A-100AXC) at pins 17 and 18.

Now I'm wondering if I need pull-up resistors. According to my observation, the tracer goes directly from D+ and D- to the USB Port. Could that be right?

                  Despite these steps,...

QNAP TS-469L NAS shutting down randomly
                  by spleenharvester
I bought this NAS as "turns on then straight back off again". When I received it it had no trouble staying on, just the RAM stick was in the wrong slot so it wouldn't POST. I was hoping that was all that was wrong with it, but it's now started randomly shutting off once a week. When I find it off it will fire straight back up again if I hit power, no need to power cycle. Nothing ever in the logs aside from "the last shutdown was unsafe".

It's got an internal PSU, an FSP250-50LC (which is wildly overkill for the hardware really). The electrolytic caps in the PSU...

UN55MU7500fxza Samsung Curve, Dead no picture
                  by Plurxtc1
I have a Samsung Curve TV UN55MU7500fxza. There's no LED standby on the power button. I checked the connector to the mainboard where it needs 13V, it only showed up 9V. I removed the connector and the backlight comes up. I ended up replacing the mainboard but the issue is the same. The voltage drop and no LED standby. Have anyone experience the same problem with the curve? I came across a previous Curve TV and it caused the same symptom....
