    Dehumidifier cap

I need a Cap for a Sunbeam Dehumidifier with a bad cap and I'm having a problem finding one online.

It about 3 inches long and 1 1/2 inch wide

    The brand says 17uf 250vac CBB65 50/60Hz C.P1 plant oil E243410
It also has 3 post connectors on top and it's made by Tongling Electric

    Re: Dehumidifier cap

Any pictures/ it sounds like AC motor running/starting cap.
What country are you in? Please remember, we do not have the part or the unit in front of us to look at, pictures are the closest thing we have.

Take a meter and see if two connectors are the same connection

see if this cap will work for you

Meaco Arete One / Deye Dehumidifier not working
        by CG2
I've got a dehumidifier that has stopped working. Plug it in, press the power switch, and it beeps 5 times. Nothing showing in the display (which is just two 7 segment displays) apart from the two decimal points flashing. The model is a MeacoDry Arete One 18L, which seems to be a rebadged Deye (all the boards are marked Deye). Here's what I've got so far (details in case anyone else in future should need them).

Starting with the power board. Mains power comes in at the red connector top left. The compressor is powered by the orange connector to the right of that and is switched by...

        Delongho Dehumidifier DX-10

About four year old keeping my shed dry. It runs for about 5 or 10 minutes and then cuts out regardless of the dryness setting. Green light stays on. The tank is not full. Any suggestions? Hoping someone, here, has has had the same problem. Any help would be appreciated....

Cooler Master 1200W Silent Pro Gold - Bad power switch
        by tony359
        Hi all,

The PSU in question had a bad power switch. There was not physical feedback when switching on and - if memory serves - it was always ON even when in OFF position.

I researched a bit and got some replacements.

The replacement "got stuck" at first power up - as in "it's now always on".

It looks like this PSU has a pretty large inrush current as my lights flicker when I turn it on with no load.

Probably the switches I got are bad quality but I was wondering if someone could recommend a good replacement?...

TCL 50S535 bad tcon or panel issue?
        by x_orange90_x
Just bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort. I cleaned the ribbons anyway and reconnected them but still got a blank screen. If I disconnect the right side...

ArcticAire / Danby ADR70A2C dehumidifier - not collecting water
        by momaka
As the title says, a family friend of ours gave me an ArcticAire ADR70A2C dehumidifier (made by Danby) that has a problem - it doesn't collect water. When I turn it ON, the fan runs and after a few seconds I can also hear the compressor turn ON as well. The dehumidifier gets really hot on the back, though.

All I can tell you about the dehumidifier is that it's only a few years old and used to work fine prior to last summer - it would fill its bucket with water in less than 12 hours in my friend's basement. But midway this summer, it stopped collecting water in their basement. So...
