Awesome! This datasheet has a lot more info. Difficult reading on my tablet or laptop. Gonna print this out to have available near the machine, and read it later.

You can kill a motherboard putting it in there. You can also make them better. Such is risk. The risk is mitigated by using some common sense

50-60 celsius, a gallon of distilled water and 100 milliliters of bransonic EC for 90 seconds does a great job. If you use too high a concentration of fluid, too much time in the machine, or too much heat, you can kill it.

Cellphone boards are more likely to die for no reason than laptop motherboards.

One thing I am interested in if you have a scotle IR6000 V4 - how do you get the thing to work with the temperature sensor?

Mine won't go over 50-100c if I have the temp sensor anywhere near heat. If I toss it off the machine entirely, the profiles will start to work, but this is obviously pointlessbecause if I do not know the temperature I am using the machine at the profile cannot run properly and it cannot do a proper job.

It stays at step 1 permanently. When I take the temp sensor away the SV changes from 0 to 100.

I have no clue what SV means since it came without a manual and bgawarehouse refuses to answer any of my requests to have a manual sent. I feel terrible hijacking an existing thread, but it appears I am unable to start a new one.

There's always a reason, even if it's not apparent.

IIRC You're supposed to post in the introduction thread first, then you can start threads.

sv = set value meaning the setting that you want it to be
pv = present value ie; the current temperature

there is obviously some issue with you machine, could be a bad sensor or simply an improper profile

CDS‑200B ultrasonic cleaner - (other generic Chinese cleaners are somewhat similar)

CDS‑200B ultrasonic cleaner - AKA James Ultra 7050 etc.

There are many versions of cheap Chinese ultrasonic cleaners, and a fair few share this design, with a removable tank with handle. There are also fixed tank versions which look to use the same basic layout and presumably the same PCBs.

I picked one up "spares or repair" on ebay, and the cleaner was dead, but the fuse wasn't blown.

A quick diode check revealed D7 was shorted. D7 is a 12V 1/2 Watt Zener. I had one in my stash, so this was about as close to a "five minute repair" as...

              Chinese no brand ultrasonic cleaner
              by tricky74
I bought an ultrasonic cleaner from ebay and after a couple of years it blew one of the driver boards fuse and a couple of diodes. I replaced the parts and it worked for a while then died again. Since then I have thrown out the board and just use one. The unit had 2 drivers and the good one drives 1 transducer only. The fried board was driving 2 transducers. The unit works on 1 transducer but is weak in power. I am tempted to connect the 2 transducers that were driven by the dead board. And leave the single disconnected. Not sure if it there is a fault in them and will just kill the driver. As...

Ultrasonic cleaner but a bit faulty.
              by diif
After a not very cool noise and the display dimming my ultrasonic cleaner powered off. The display and fan work, just nothing happens when I press the ultrasonic button.
I think it's at least the triac that is at fault (on the small PCB), showing 57 ohms between pin 1 and 3 and possibly one of the relays (marked in red), I was hoping someone might advise. Thank you....

Replacing the WiFi module on a vacuum cleaner iROBOT i7
              by AlexVG
              Hi,
I have had an iROBOT i7 with a camera error (error 68) version REV M, year 2018.

I bought a liquid damaged Mainboard with WiFi module, from the same vacuum cleaner, but a different year and a different version (REV G).
(This board does not respond, only the LEDs light up in a circle.
The liquid damage is catastrophic and restoration is impractical).
(I bought this board to get the WiFi module and camera).

The boards are completely different in the installation of elements, even the connector for the WiFi module is different.

              If...

Cheap ultrasonic cleaner doesn’t work anymore
              by caphair
Powers on shows a display and lets you set a duration. When I press Start I can hear a relay click and the timer counts down but it never really starts. Not sure if it's fixable or worth it but figured I'd post. Maybe someone has experience with these....
