Re: Samsung UE46D6500 black screen no sound.
Thanks for the replies. I already saw this replacement on ebay but it's missing one RF input when compared to mine.. Almost all of them are! Will this matter?

Re: Samsung UE46D6500 black screen no sound.
Here are some pics of the board. While taking pics I noticed some components might have been removed from main board. This wasn't noticeable at first glance I took, sorry. Tampered solder also in fotos.
I didn't took voltages because I didn't find any voltage test points on main board, only on power.
IC1401, IC1205, C751_DS and D704_DS seem to be missing..
Thanks....Last edited by Learn2Day; 09-02-2016, 10:11 AM.

Samsung UE46D6500 black screen no sound.
Hi,
I have a Samsung UE46D6500 that "doesn't boot"(?)..
First of all, when I unplug main board from power board, back light lights up. Not sure, but I think this eliminates power issues..
With all connected TV powers on and off and LED blinks pressing sound channel menu etc, either by dashboard or remote.. But it's always black screen (backlights won't turn on) and i ear no sound...
I took a look over the boards and all I see is heating marks on the board near the DNie CPU.
Can you help please? Also, if someone has schematics or service...

Re: Asus GL551JM power short after water damage
Hey guys,
Thanks for the tips, I already ruled out the 735, but even after removing it problem's still there, but now I have other components heating up, highlighted in photo..
I'm pretty sure this some component that goes into short as soon as power is injected, however there's not short without power.. I'm lost!
Any tips on where to go next?
Thanks.
PQ, usually is the IC description on the board.....

Asus GL551JM power short after water damage
Hi guys,
Need your help with this laptop. It got water damage. Even after cleaning it's quite noticeable on the photo.
I noticed the charger would turn on protection as soon as I plugged it in, so I injected power and right away noticed that the BQ735 from TI heats up pretty fast. Probably needs replacement. But I'd like to try using flux and reflow water damaged components before anything else..
My question is, considering this is a fairly recent laptop and I don't to further damage the board, what hot air temp do you recommend? I usually use 350ºC but I'm...

Re: IR6000 V4 and Ultrasonic Cleaner - need help
Here's the manuals I found. Unfortunately they don't say much..
In example, no instructions or proper function description of functions like loop counter or power limit.. Also don't understand quite well what run prog and auto hand does.....

Re: IR6000 V4 and Ultrasonic Cleaner - need help
Hey guys, I finally caught a video that made me understood part of the machine and how to configure the ramps. I successfully removed a chip but I believe I removed some pads (3 in the upper right corner), see pics.
I noticed that my bottom heater and board temp came higher much faster than the video.. In the video the temp came up slow and nice, the board temp was pretty much side by side with top heater and just a tad slower. In my experience, board temp was already at 178ºC when top heater was still arriving at...
