I've been looking at getting myself one: http://www.peakelec.co.uk/acatalog/jz_esr60.html

I like that it can measure capacitance at the same time, although that's usually not that critical.

there is also a newer version that has different melodies!! depending on the value it reads.

I have not used one but own several other Peak meters which over the years have been very useful and totally reliable.
"Measuring capacitance at the same time" is slightly misleading as you have to remove the component from the circuit.
When you buy one make sure it's an updated version which takes reading 'one handed' older units required you to use two hands to apply the probes and another to press 'test'.
