Asus CUSL2-M. in some versions replace the yellow fujitsu cap leaving the nichicon above the cpu and sanyo for other major caps. the rest are probably ost but it is ok they will run for quite a few years stable like that. replace them if you want. there is another cap inbetween pci 1 and 2 if i recall ok that should be replaced. otherwise completely stable in win2k/xp. with 866 chip and 512mb ram it is a great office pc. the limit is of course the 512mb max ram.

anybody reading this in europe i could use another 1 or 2 of these boards in posting condition for the office. i would pay top reasonable price. nice boards.

      Thanks for the tip!

Are there any 370 boards that you can recommend that do Not need any caps to be replaced?

actually i have checked my photos

pic shows correct common cap config on these boards.

what 2 caps to replace? you lazy.......... i got some of the biggest producers in the office on these boards. others on CUSL2. all rock stable, never crash. 866 PIII, 512mb, Win2k......life is good.

another board i was particularly impressed with, zero issues whatsoever but socket 478 instead was the Intel Blue Mountain 2 D845PEBT2. damn i wished i had got more of them.

Intel is unique inasmuch that it is almost always a safe bet and this is reflected accordingly in the price on eBay.

The CA810E is one board that may suite your needs although it is a little wider than some other micro's.

The E designation is critical for higher speed processors. Beyond this certain AA number series boards have higher capabilities - see Intel's site for info.

Possible to convert eMMC Socket to a micro SD Card socket?
            by Isabella91
I have seen many posts where the eMMC can be read via a SD card reader, however can the opposite be achieved?

Read/Write a Micro SD Card from an eMMC Socket.

I have a Motherboard with a Kingston BGA153 ball socket, using HS400 bus mode, which is 8bit, as Micro SD is usually 1bit or 4bit mode, I accept that a loss of speed in read/write will occur, but I would sill like to convert.

Theoretically speaking, Im thinking if I hard solder DAT0-3 from eMMC to SD Card Reader, this should force 4-bit mode, or only DAT0 to force 1-bit mode.

Dell Latitude 7420 - Touchscreen not working since Mainboard replacement
            by Mirenia
            Hi everyone,

I've got a little "problem child": my Dell Latitude 7420 2-in-1, which had a faulty mainboard.
I replaced it, but ever since, the touchscreen no longer works — and honestly, I’m running out of ideas…

In Windows Device Manager, I just see an I2C HID Device with error code 10. Sporadically, the touchscreen is recognized correctly for just a few seconds, but I haven’t been able to determine under which circumstances this happens.

The touchscreen also doesn’t work in UEFI/BIOS, although it’s enabled...

MASTER TL240 and new mainboard LW36BKC01
            by orcic
            Hello,
I have an old MASTER TL-240 LED TV. Since it stopped working and it had a DVB-T receiver that is being dismissed in Italy, I've decided to replace the mainboard with a DVB-T2 one.
The original problem was that when switching on the TV, the power LED was transitioning from red to steady blue, without showing video or audio.
After checking some voltages on the power supply board (HKL-240101-B Rev. 1.4, HKL from now on) someone suggested me to replace the mainboard.
Now I have some doubts about how to connect the new mainboard to the old power supply.
            First of...

Acer AN515-57-577G JDIMM1 socket not working.
            by warsztat
Hello, Acer AN515-57-577G JDIMM1 socket does not work. GH51G LA-L181P, 2x DDR4 RAM, both good, both work well in JDIMM2, neither works in JDIMM1. The laptop displays BIOS, when the JDIMM2 socket is occupied, you can run Linux on USB, then everything seems to work ok, there is internet access and you can browse the contents of the 512 GB SSD in Windows, but starting Windows ends with an eternal spinning circle, maybe there are corrupted files. When the RAM is inserted into the JDIMM1 socket, the laptop starts but there is no image and the downloaded current does not change and the output is ~2.25A....
