On the other hand, if you make it really small and you do run out of RAM, Windows XP will automatically expand it temporarily. I just had that happen to me a few days ago while playing a game on my old computer. Funny thing is I didn't have much free disk space either so when the page file started to re-size, hard drive ran out of space . Then things just got really slow for a while.

        Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

        USB problems?
        by Hondaman
Recently I discovered my SSD died (OCZ/Toshiba 240 GB). It was in a USB enclosure, attached to the Linksys WRT-AC1200 router. Since then I removed the USB enclosure and attached it to my Win7 PC (AMD 8150 CPU, 970 chipset, 64 GB RAM). I also gathered one or two other USB enclosures to figure out what is going on.

(I suspect that I lost quite a few MP3 and FLAC files I recently ripped from my audio CDs, I think I lost very little un-replaceable stuff.)

I think it is IMPOSSIBLE for Win7 to have any problems with a USB enclosure as long as Win7 knows how to speak to the...

Lenovo 11e problems (any sata hdds are not recognized, sleep battery drain)
        by clabr
Need help to solve some problems with this laptop.

After working in bed with it one night and heating up too much (probably the cause of this problems) the sata HDD OS windows froze
After restart the original Sata HDD was not recognized anymore (but works fine in other laptops or PCs)

Tried connecting other good Sata 2.5 HDDs but not one is working in this laptop anymore (not the original nor others)

Before this had happened I observed some other problems:
When I tried replacing original mecanical HDD with a SSD HDD could not get them...

PS4 Slim SAD-002 Won't shut down. Only reboots...
        by HeatElectronics
Hello Everyone! Im dealing with PS4 Slim SAD-002. It came with the SU-42118-6 error. I found F6202 damaged so i replaced it. I was able to run the update without problems. After some time i decided to turn it off and surprise! I can't turn it off. The issue happens when the console is about to shut down, the beep sound can be heard and it reboot into O.S. What could be causing that? I disconected ODD, power button, wireless antennas (in case some device was forcing it to turn on), also HDMI disconected without success. I also did a full and clean reinstall in another HDD (in case of disk damage)...
