Personally my ears don't eject earwax.
I have to dig a little.

            recap delta?
            that's sacrilige!
            <wink>

it would probably work with fuhyju 3 years, and if it has teapo or alike, it'll probably work forever.

just got fortron 400w with PFC (actually thsi one
https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=3167 ) and they seem to be doing only teapo now, no traces of OST as in the 350w model a while back....

I believe those AcBel's have OST or CEC international on the secondary. Should last for a while especially since that thing moves some air through it. Recapping it is pretty hard as putting it back together...it's a little challenging.

Delta doesn't seem to use teapo at all. They stick to ltec, capxon, samxon, with the occasional rubycon, UCC, and nichicon thrown in for good measure.

My Delta has Ltec, Capxon, and Taicon in it. No japcaps, not even one, unfortunately. It stays very cool and is quieter than one hand clapping.

I also went ahead and removed the two front fans in my system. Now my temps are as such:

                  HDD-40C
                  CPU-48C (Hits 54C under load)
                  Graphics Card - 46C

A bit warm, but nothing to worry about. Plus my motherboard is entirely solid polys - not a lytic in sight. I'm not worried. There are two lytics on my graphics card, but they are Pannies, and the card has a lifetime warranty anyways.

                  The thing is SILENT!!!

HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec2523nd - Dimm2 slot disabled after corrupt bios repair? Advice requested.
                    by Bloodhoundje
                    Hi everyone,

I have been doing hardware repair as a hobby for some years now and recently decided to learn about repairing laptops as a fun challenge.

I managed to get my hands on a "HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec2523nd" notebook that only shows a white power LED and doesnt respond to anything.

After initial testing I concluded the bios seems to be corrupted since all voltages are normal and there are no shorts. HP has a feature for a bios restore from USB with winkey+B for this model. This did not work.

I have desoldered the bios chip (GigaDevice...

PowerMac G4 MDD ACBel Power Supply issues (API1PC36 400W)
                    by Snownomow
                    Hello!

First want to thank folks on this forum (Toasty, etc) for the very useful info I've found here that has allowed me to repair a PowerMac G4 MDD Samsung power supply and get this ACBel one working better!

I got a PowerMac G4 MDD for free as it was dead (not booting at all). I was able to confirm it was it's ACBel power supply as another (above mentioned Samsung) power supply works ok with the system.

With this ACBel power supply installed, the system would not boot at all, no power light blink, nothing. I've gone ahead and replaced the "12...

Seeking Advice: Repairing Dell U3425WE Monitor with Faulty USB-C/Thunderbolt Ports
                    by Borse2008
                    Hi everyone,

Looking for some advice or opinions on what to do with a monitor issue I’ve run into. Apologies in advance is this crossovers a few forum categories.

I have a Dell U3425WE, which I've recently replaced with another model. That said, the original unit is still fully functional in terms of the display — it works perfectly over HDMI and DisplayPort. However, the USB-C and Thunderbolt 4 ports have stopped functioning correctly. The Issue:
                    • The 90W Thunderbolt 4 port (circled in the photo) no longer charges or powers any device, including laptops or MacBooks.
                    • There’s

                    Mosfet Advice
                    by Green Probe
Hi, Im looking to replace some EMP21N03 mosfets on an Alienware motherboard, but I'm having trouble finding a legit supplier. The ones that are available from China have pictures with the engraved logo looking very scratchy and sketchy. Nobody in the US sells them. I'm trying to find a compatible mosfet, but I'm not well versed enough to be confident im making the right choice. Does anyone have a suggestion or advice that could help me find the right mosfet? Thanks!

Gigabyte Eagle 3060 Ti - Boardview / Advice request please
                    by user234
                    Hi all,

Recently installed a new motherboard but during the process I seemed to have damaged my Gigabyte Eagle 3060 Ti card.

My motherboard ROG STRIX B550-A is detecting an issue with the VGA (light ON)

I have attached 2 photo's of my GPU board, one above and the other is what I believe to be the 5V - as you can see, this has visual damage so looks suspicious to me.

If I replace this part what are the odds this will resolve the issue? - any additional information on where to source the parts would be much apricated too!

                    This is...
