Wow thanks allot for the heads up!
I just looked and my cheap-ass ODBII cable for my BMW seems to use this fake chip!
I took these photos of it in March of this year, after having fixed some of the worst soldering on it!

Xiaomi router freezes at boot after re-capping
          by hinisa
I'm using Xiaomi Router 4A gigabit edition as wireless repeater. It worked fine for 2 years or so, but last week, wireless started to disappear.

When I unplug/replug the power, it was working fine for a day/half a day or so until it freezes again.

After testing with different power supply adapters and concluding it wasn't the issue I finally opened the case and this was the situation:

Anyway I proceed to clean up the mess and replace all caps but unfortunately it made the situation worse. Now router can't even boot, either it freezes during...

Seeking Advice: Repairing Dell U3425WE Monitor with Faulty USB-C/Thunderbolt Ports
          by Borse2008
          Hi everyone,

Looking for some advice or opinions on what to do with a monitor issue I’ve run into. Apologies in advance is this crossovers a few forum categories.

I have a Dell U3425WE, which I've recently replaced with another model. That said, the original unit is still fully functional in terms of the display — it works perfectly over HDMI and DisplayPort. However, the USB-C and Thunderbolt 4 ports have stopped functioning correctly. The Issue:
          • The 90W Thunderbolt 4 port (circled in the photo) no longer charges or powers any device, including laptops or MacBooks.

Dell 34 inch U3419W Monitor with thin stripes on partial screen
          by ChristianBr01
          Hello everyone,
I have a Dell U3419W Monitor that has some thin stripes on a part of the screen since Tuesday.
This lines cover about a third of the screen and appear for 2 seconds before disappear for another 2 seconds.
This repeats the whole time. I have not opened the case yet cause I had no time, but will try to fix it on this weekend. For me, it looks like a problem on the TCon... Am I right?
Does someone have seen this before?...

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Schematic & Board View

The GeForce GTX 1660 is a performance-segment graphics card by NVIDIA, launched on March 14th, 2019. Built on the 12 nm process, and based on the TU116 graphics processor, in its TU116-300-A1 variant, the card supports DirectX 12. This ensures that all modern games will run on GeForce GTX 1660. The TU116 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 284 mm² and 6,600 million transistors. Unlike the fully unlocked GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, which uses the same GPU but has all 1536 shaders enabled, NVIDIA has disabled some...
