Customers laptop had a Motherboard go bad and replaced it. they want to try to get data but. I am having bitlocker issues. I will list below
Issue 1: When connect the drive to my computer to decrypt it I get this message. "there are no supported protectors on this drive the drive cannot be unlocked"
Issue 2: When I run powershell as admin and try manage-bde -protectors -get e: I get this message. " ERROR: An attempt to access a required resource was denied. I also get the same error when I try manage-bde -status e: When I try the same with terminal with admin ERROR: An error occurred (code 0x80310000): -status are all almost unknown
Issue 3: When I put the drive in a new computer and boot it up to get the identifier I get prompted for the pin. When i put the correct pin it in get this message. "There was a Problem" It looks like something didn't load correctly. Restarting might fix the problem. If this happens more then once, you might also be able to find help by searching online for the specific error code: 8007139f
I looked up that code and found this answer: This error code (commonly associated with Windows Update issues) can indicate problems with the BitLocker PIN or a corrupted protector.
I have attached some pictures. If anyone know of anything else to try let me know please.
