Broken Samsung 2253LW

Hello I got a Samsung 2253LW for free a while back and the backlights don't work. The monitor had bad caps so I recapped and when I turned it on there were lines on the screen then it went out. The ccfl's dont work on a good board but the board wont work on good ccfl's. When I plug the ccfl's into a good board it flickers and makes bad noises then goes out. When I plug good ccfl's into the board it flashes then goes out. Is there any way I can test the inverter transformers with a digital multimeter?

What could the problem here be?

are you testing the ccfls in the same model board?, i had one of these and changes the ccfls for led lighting (one of the tubes was fractured at the end cap, i also disabled the power to the inverter board as the brightness control was done by the seperate power board.

No the board is a different model. Does this matter? I have ccfl's that will work in other boards.

You can test some transformers pic of top and bottom of it would help and part number.
