    +5V ===> 10ohm + 15 ohm
    +12V ==> 48ohm

    bulb ===> 12v 100W philips, but used on +5V (~42W).

        Nice, you can see how melted the caps are with that. Good one.

          Re: My dummy load devices, version 1.0

          it was very bright and dangerous for my eyes found out that it was only 90W 12v rated.
          Code:
          P = V x I
          90W = 12v x I

          I = 90W/12v = 7.5A

          at 5V:

          P = V x I
           = 5v x 7.5A
           = 37.5W

          I built another dummy load. very usefull to test and measure the rails output of a psu without the case/PC.

            I believe Chip 2 is BIN is the main one as it contained the Windows product key, marked with XXXXX for now.

            PROBLEM: Turns on blank screen, charging circuitry motherboard looks good. I have tried another firmware here - but resulted in 5V will not go to 20v due to different PD firmware I believe - using the current firmware it does go to 20V.

            Requesting a firmware clean/BIOS region cleaned. Here is output from ME Analyzer:

            HP Pavilion 15-eh Board DAG7HAMB8F0 - CPU throttling to 0.4GHz (PROCHOT_EXT) and black screen
            by m1ch43lzm
            Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
            Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

            Testing ATX PSUs under load - Does loading the ATX 24 pin also load EPS & PCIE?
            by AJ847.63e
            Hi Folks,

            Just wanted to clear up a misunderstanding of mine (or what I expect is one). Isn't the 12V rail from the 24 pin, EPS and PCIE separated? IE if I put a power resistor on the ATX 12V pin that is not going to load, thus tell me if the EPS or PCIE rails are fine?

            I was recently watching ArIs from Hardware Busters video on how to properly test ATX PSUs without using 5 figure Croma substations.

            The PCB adapter he used breaks out the 12, 5 and 3.3V pins from the 24 pin and gives you banana plugs to connect to. That is a bit useless is it not? Aren't...
