I have a question about weather or not a laptop computer came with a USB type C charg

I would like to know if anyone knows if a laptop computer used a USB type C power adapter as its power supply if so what was the brand name and what model number was it I am looking for one that actually still works correctly

Thank for anyone who knows that can give this information

The reason I am asking there are EBay sellers that have a battery powered bank that says that it can power up a laptop computer I even have several switching power supplies adapter that have a USB type C male plug on them and I want to make a battery powered pack for remote computer usage or at least this is plan

welcome to the world off bulshit that is the USB non-standards

    usb-c is a connector format.

you need to know about the signaling.
quickcharge (QC) verses Power Delivery (PD)
these are the protocols used to raise the voltage and they ARENT compatable with each other.
BUT WAIT. the fun isnt over.
there are versions - 2.0 3.0 etc and then you need to know how high the laptop wants to raise the voltage and if the psu supports going that high!

i stay away from this shit - fuck it all - it's a shitshow.
it's the road that leads to boxes of psu's and cables just to do a simple task.

This is the reason I asked the question

If you're asking about power supplies I've used several HP chargers P/N 671R3AA with just about anything from phones (both qualcomm quick charge and not, including Xiaomis with their weird half proprietary quick charge) to power delivery capable laptops with no issues.

They're probably one of the few good products that HP currently makes

            Acer Chromebook 314 - CB314-3H-C41F
            Acer CP311-3H-K5WQ
            HP 14a-ne0013dx
are all computers that can charge via USB-C

I use Anker and and Ugreen PSU’s (45w and 60w bricks). Works like a charm. The laptops ASUS and Lenovo will charge on a 45w power supply (normal 60w), but it will let you know that there is a slow charger on the port. Also it does not matter on which usb-c port the PSU gets plugged in. Been doing this for 4 years no problem and 2 years on the laptops no problems. Besides the cables last about 2 years, since they get used a lot. I got them from Amazon.

usb c cables are labelled by their maximum wattage usually

Just go to Amazon and look for “Anker” or “Ugreen”

I literally use an apple USB-C charger to charge my LG Gram (45W)

To add to the list, I use an HP EliteBook 840 G6 and can confirm that this supports USB-C charging too

In my experience, anything past 8th gen is much more compatible with USB C charging, before that is quite hit and miss as to what laptops will take it and how much power they will take.
Lots of 8th gen and onwards HPs and Dells will accept power via USB C.
Most of the machines i've come across will negotiate for 19-20V at 3-5 amps when on and charging. (Obviously the charger must support these configurations)
There are power limits also to worry about, a machine that requires a 130W charger for example might not be able to take that much power from a USB C port and will charge, but slowly (even when using a 130W USB C charger).
Random note - i have noticed a lot of coil whine in some machines when using usb charging.
