Re: Need help identifying cap.
Yes I think so, and I am seriously looking to these ones for recapping just one channel of the mixer and make some tests...
Bi-polarized “nichicon MUSE” acoustic series. *** Suited for audio signal circuits. *** ...
if I am successfull, i will also recap the master output module, test again... and finally recap all remaining modules.

Re: Need help identifying cap.
so I looked at these "improved/custom" PSU from the classic, fully discrete Bozak CMA-10-2D rotary mixer, using Nichicon MUSE series... but which one?... ok, another question is, are these caps for audio purposes? they can't be Nichicon's "ES" because his rated capacitance range goes from 0.47 to just 1000μF, and the ones green plated from the PSU pictures are 2200uf/50v, so they must be other serie of MUSE...
and also the second PSU with the golden AUDYN ERGF Elko caps, upgraded with the TK Jovial's gives me pause of though....
so what you guys think about these two first power supply "upgrades"?
I found the last one of the Bozak's CMA-10-2DL PSU's (the one with the blue 1000uf/63v SHOEI cap) upgraded with "Evox RIFA" caps, which I am researching at the moment (ref: PEG226KJ4220QE1)...
PD: also checking the Vishay/BC refs: MAL211817222E3 & MAL212017222E3 + EPCOS (TDK) ref: B41696A7228Q7 + Audyn-ERGF Elko + Not sure about the Frako (last pic)... I don't see too many options out there for a 2200uf/40v replacement with axial terminals... any other suggestions?? the ROE's I have are just fine?? should I simply adapt some nice Nichicon's radial caps??Last edited by BrainKaos; 03-28-2015, 08:54 PM.Comment

pd: can't find too much info about these NCC series, but im sure they are better than the NoVer's I have in my mixer.Last edited by BrainKaos; 03-29-2015, 10:38 AM.Comment

by HondamanI ordered a Japanese book, it will never be published in English. A Mr. Fujumoto was a Japanese sushi chef who became a cook for Kim Jong-Il. He was not perceived as a threat to the dictator's power, so he became very close to the dictator. Apparently, the dictator is QUITE hedonistic, with a lot of debauchery. Although he can spend as much as $700,000 per year on alcoholic beverages and this alcohol is NOT actually the highest quality. Also, the dictator has 24 palaces. One of them is as large as TEN YANKEE STADIUMS PUT TOGETHER. Are they all that large?
Does anyone have experience...-

I have an MSI 3PA1 monitor on my bench that wont power on. I have tested the 2 (what I believe to be Schottky Diodes) and both are shorted in both directions (a common faulty from what I can see on Google) but I'm not certain what the markings on the Diodes mean so I need some help in identifying which ones to order from Mouser please?
I've done a search for 101C 5100C and all I can find are datasheets for 5100C which say they are 20-100V 5A Schottky Diodes but I'm not 100% sure if this is correct or not and what significance the 101C is.
