    swapping 18uf/400v for 22uf/400v

hi there just need some confirmation that it would be ok to swap an 18uf/400v cap and use a 22uf/400v cap as a replacement ,the cap is being used in a led tv power supply.
    many thanks.

That is an odd value for electrolytics cap. How is it connected in the circuit?

        Can I replace 15uf capacitor with 22uf?
        by cap__
"If I wanted to replace an old 15uF/400V capacitor with a new one,
I have a new 15uF/400V and a new 22uF/400V capacitor. When measured, the new 15uF reads only 13uF, and the 22uF reads only 20uF. Can I use the 22uF capacitor?"

        WS-WN523N2 WiFi AP Power Supply
        by Keshenatech1
I had been using a WS-WN523N2 to generate WiFi from my wired ethernet internet connection. Recently it needed to be power cycled more and more frequently so I decided to open it up. I found 2 bulged 470uf 16V capacitors in the low voltage output side of the unit's power supply. The 2 other capacitors in the high voltage side, a 4.7uf 400V and a 22uf 100V both read low ESR so I decided to replace them as well. The 4.7uf 400V is directly across the output of the full wave bridge and the 22uf 100V is on the other side of an inductor coming off of the positive side of the bridge, negative side directly...

Need confirmation if PCH is dead
        by orientalsniper
Hello, got a 820-00165, has orange led but won't power on, if I SMC bypass, the fan spins indefinitely, but the PCH/Processor does not even warm up.

Here are the relevant voltages, need confirmation if PCH is dead to inform customer:

        PPVRTC_G3H - 0v (4 MOhms)
        RTC_RESET_L - 3.3v
        PCH_SRTCRST_L - 3.3v
        PCH_INTVRMEN_L - 2.4v
        PCH_DSWVRMEN - 2.3v
        PP3V3_S5 - 3.3v
        PM_DSW_PWRGD - 3.4v
        PP3V3_SUS - 3.3v
        PM_BATLOW_L - 3.3v
        PM_RSMRST_L - 3.3v
        PM_PWRBTN_L - 3.3v

MacBook Air 820-3209-A Missing (3) AGX 22uF Decoupling Capacitors
        by Cory Marqusee
        Hi Everyone,

        I have a MacBook Air I've repaired, a mid-2012 13-inch 820-3209-A. It works. My only concern is that it is still missing (3) 22uF (0402 4V 20%) VAGX decoupling capacitors. Specifically, capacitors C1730, C1731, and C1732.

How necessary are these capacitors? It has (11) 22uF to begin with; missing (3), my board now only has (8).

I've been having difficulty sourcing new replacement capacitors without paying too much. Does anybody have any vendors state-side to recommend? Mouser charges parts + $8 shipping + $7 cutting fee (unless I buy an...

        Yageo 400V 680uF measuring 580uF
        by jm1234
        Hi,
I have a Yageo 400V 680uF that is currently measuring 580uF (Measured by UNI-T UT603). Does that normally qualify for replacement?
Details: Siemens tumble dryer getting Error 25 after an hour or so, on all last 3 runs.
I checked the circuit boards quickly and this capacitor sticks out, nothing visible, not even bulging though. It costs 12euro, so I'd like to get your feedback first. The main thing on that board seems to be a motor controller (for the compressor) https://www.mouser.sk/ProductDetail/...xvzUNHBQ%3D%3D.
        Thanks...
