Nichicon PW series rubber seal variant

    Hi,

I bought some Nichicon capacitor for a recapping project.

I found that these capacitor , even if they are all from the same series (PW) , have different rubber seal.

I have a couple of Nichicon gold tune too , with different rubber seal.

    see the photos:

    For the PW series

    For the Gold Tune

I just want to know if this is normal?

    Thanks

Where did you buy the capacitors from? If eBay, most likely some, or all of them, are fakes.

        They shouldn't be fake.

I haven't used Nichicon caps as large as the two largest, but the rest look correct.

They may be from within the same series, but they are different sizes, so that is quite normal...

Once again they scrammed [sic]. Once again they screamed for us to come save them. Sadat woke me up in the middle of the night twice over the phone, 'Save me!' He demanded to send Soviet troops, and immediately! No! We are not going to fight for them."

Don't use 3rd party image hosting, as it is slower to load. Attach your pictures here (I've done it for you this time).
I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

Yes, but with this document you can see if the bung shape is correct for the size, or possibly a fake...
