    Old radio caps, identify please?

Hello, and thanks for your time,
I am wondering what kind of caps these are in an old 1950's radio (wax, mica, ceramic, ?)
Can someone please identify the types?

Would they need to be replaced?

They could be polyester units, but they may be of the unreliable paper type.
My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.

The ones where I could see a logo were made by Iskra, a Yugoslav company. I'm going to guess the first three pix are polypropylene, and I think the fourth pic is a ceramic.

the red one is a paper unit, the green one is polly, the third one i haven't seen before (maybe a clone of a bumble bee?) more than likely a mica, and the fourth you probably dont need to replace.

Also, replace the larger electrolytic capacitors (the big metal can one(s)), they tend to fail at this old age.

I think I got the wrong site in my earlier post - meant this one - .org not .com
