            Mon2 so after checking these appear to go to ground on both sides ( but there appears to be no short) and on input, DC is 20v I've also injected voltage to the board and nothing is showing maybe possibly that's where the short started at this stage I think maybe add 2 x 0.1uf capacitors as there is no schematic it's a dead end I guess? as these ar for the bios and even after checking voltages there is nothing from the bios at all.

              This bios does not have power? Start with the usual DCin mosfet & charger IC review. See the above sticky on charger circuits by piernov. It is a must read.
