I need a bios dump for HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2...dump is 16mb
Mine is locked,so i need to unlock it...

Long story short - BIOS update from Windows Update went sideways
Notebook is turning on, but it has a "bios update loop". I`ve tried bios crisis/recovery/repair magic tricks (Win+B, Win+V, USB recovery disk etc) nothing helped.
So, i need clean dump, without passwords to reprogram my eeprom again. Can somebody help me?

Can you remove the bios password on this HP X360 1030 G3, please? This bios looks different than on some older Elitebooks, so I can't do the unlock on my own. There are two dumps attached. 256Mb BIOS dump and 128Mb EC dump. I noticed the EC file contains some password hash information so I suppose it might need unlocking as well.

Hi,
could anyone help me please with removing the admin Password from the Bios (Bios+EC)
of my Elitebook x360 1030 G3 please. Can´t remember it anymore.

I tried it with HP- and RC unlocker but without success.
After reflashing and resoldering both chips with my potential "unlocked" ones, the Laptop is again working fine... but bios PW is still requested!? :-(
So somewhat I did wrong, but don´t know what :-O

hello everybody, hope you all doing well. i have a hp elitebook x360 1030 g8 laptop with bios lock. i tried with the rcunlocker and hpunlocker but both did not help me then i tried manually by searching active from the bin file through hex then i deleted the nvram and it worked but the problem is everytime i turn on the laptop it pops up a error page of hp endpoint secuirity controller problem but after clicking ok then it works fine. it only comes when i turn on the laptop. can someone help me to fix this? thanks. here i attached 32MB bin file of UEC3 chip with locked and unlocked file too....

I made attempt to fix it myself. I followed these steps:

1. analyzed the dump with ME analyzer
2. the corresponding CSME version was gotten from the repo and renamed to "ME Region"
3. loaded the fit with the dump
4. changed the "generate immediate files" to "No"
5. closed the box and quit the fit after saved.
6. relaced the "ME Region" in the "decomp" with the renamed one- I chose the right one. i found found 2 files: "11.8.50.3425_COR_LP_C_YPDM_PRD_RGN.bin and "11.8.50.3425_COR_LP_C_NPDM_PRD_RGN.bin"...

Please I need the above (Elitebook 1030 G2) working BIOS.

What Happened?
About a week after replacing the keyboard and the battery, the PC started to trip off and turn on automatically after about an hour of use. The PC does not overheat neither does the power button misbehaves.

I have updated the BIOS firmware to the latest, troubleshooted with another SSD but the behavior persisted.
