Greetings everyone.
Please I need the above (Elitebook 1030 G2) working BIOS.

What Happened?
About a week after replacing the keyboard and the battery, the PC started to trip off and turn on automatically after about an hour of use. The PC does not overheat neither does the power button misbehaves.

I have updated the BIOS firmware to the latest, troubleshooted with another SSD but the behavior persisted.

there's little difference now, sometimes, it can stay on for hours without turning off. sometimes it might turn off within an hour, but after it has turned on automatically, it can last for several hours without tripping off.

I have reprogrammed the 8MB and the 16MB BIOS with the one i found in another thread, but the pc doesn't POST. It keeps turning on and off in a loop.

Below are the PC details and backups are attached

I made attempt to fix it myself. I followed these steps:

1. analyzed the dump with ME analyzer
2. the corresponding CSME version was gotten from the repo and renamed to "ME Region"
3. loaded the fit with the dump
4. changed the "generate immediate files" to "No"
5. closed the box and quit the fit after saved.
6. relaced the "ME Region" in the "decomp" with the renamed one- I chose the right one. i found found 2 files: "11.8.50.3425_COR_LP_C_YPDM_PRD_RGN.bin and "11.8.50.3425_COR_LP_C_NPDM_PRD_RGN.bin"
I chose the latter.
7. I opened fit again, then head to build image but the following came during the process: "boot guard disabled on platform" came up, followed by "Intel (R) PTT disabled"

although the build was successful, do i need to worry about the above?

Addendum: can i also replace the BIOS region in the fit? i saw bios region in the decomp.

By lock, did you mean the BIOS was passworded?
