I put a password for BIOS & i don't find it

I use a random password generator & I neted the password before put into the bios

Everything works OK until i want to change an option in my BIOS

password is wrong

I don't understand

How reset this password ?

ThinkBook 15-IML type 20RW acting weird, goes in "sleep mode" randomly. I did a clean ME (thanks to hoaca388 [url]https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=109096[/url] ) but problem still exists. It not wake up when pressing keyboard or the power button, only way to turn it back on is shutting down-holding down the power button for 10 sec.
I did search on net and saw many have this problem, some say if disable (off) PCI Express from advanced power option solved the issue but is not working on my laptop.

the schematic share same marking for each component, using same PD-Controller, same BQ25710, the only different is the battery cell used. LA-K061P uses 3S battery while LA-K062P use 4S battery per schematic.

I kindly request assistance with the following. My lenovo thinkbook 15 g2 itl has the following symptoms:

- blank screen
- no post
- fan running at 100%
- unable to enter bios
- on powerup with pinhole method the led's of the power button+esc key+caps key lights up green for a brief moment

I've tried:

- holding power button >30s while unplugged from ac+unplugged battery+unplugged cmos battery
- above with pin hole method >10s

Was willing to try:

- obtaining bios .bin file...

I tried to edit the bios myself. But it didn't work out. I didn't quite understand what the .mps files were created for, indicating the offsets. When executed, they do not change anything.
Changes are made only with the Disable_RAM.mps file. They are similar to others from Lenovo 15 g2 ITL, but it still doesn't work.Hello,

I have a lenovo thinkbook 15 g2 itl (working!) and in the .bin bios file i found the lines with 6.5.6.5...6, but i don't know what to replace with 00 to disable the onboard ram/memory, if someone can help.

i've attached the extracted .exe file, this contains the bios dump when opened with 7zip (the file is DOSFLV34_QS.bin)

also how to flash the modified bios? can it be repacked and flashed?...

I got this laptop with bad onboard ram so edited the bios with SPD removal tool to disable the onboard ram and work with the ram slot - the laptop now posted so i thought all was good however when i put everything back together it will not boot to windows as no boot device found., In the bios is says hdd not detected, i disabled VMD in the bios but still the same, loaded windows on usb stick and windows install cannot find the hdd. I bought a second board that had water spill, repaired the damaged area and it posted ok but same issue no hdd detected.
