I have tried to download the bios from the HP website and extracted the bin file which i flashed and it did nothing. no fan spin no power to board..

The one i attached spins the cpu fan but has no display. I have searched the forum and i havent found any.....

Hmm. Just tried hdparm -T (aka cached buffer read speed) on my X58A ... got 10GB/sec which is close to the memtest86 speed. Machine is running a RAID5 mechanical HDD so this sure ain't disk read speed...

Hello everyone,

I have now created a patched version of my bios dump using the Lenovo Autopatcher.

Unfortunately, the notebook only emits a few beeps when starting up and otherwise only has a black screen​ (according to the Lenovo app: Error 285 - function-related TCG compliance problem).
With the patched Bios-File the notebook is not working :-(
Then I reset the TPM module (clear-tpm -useppi), which i have read in one Thread.

I then re-flashed the original bios dump - then the notebook works again - but unfortunately with the bios password....
