I wanted to dump the phones eMMC
The Phone is a Tecno AX8( Phantom 8)
I managed to dump the ROM using Miracle Thunder(MTK Tab) All Bin Files.
I checked the filesystems using cygwin System folder is EXt4, userdata.bin says data.
Thats where i am at.
Now i am looking for a way to read or mount the userdata bin file....

I managed to get usb working again by reballing the ic RT5081. Managed to dump the firmware and using poweeriso i can see the system folders.
Is there away to extract userdata been trying power iso for awhile and nothing......Leave a comment:

Hmmmm.. I think i will just try dump the emmc and back up the stuff in the working phone.

Quick Question. If you have 2 identical android phones, same model.(Device 1 and Device two) If you transplant the eMMC from device one onto device two. Will it work or do i have to transplant the CPU too? -

Toshiba Excite 7 - AT7 , Please help identify this IC
I am working on a Toshiba Excite 7 - AT7. The IC in question had a short and was heating up.
The Markings are 27D28.
I havent found a datasheet for it on the web. i have attached a photo. I dunno if its a regulator or the charging ic. I would also ask if there is an alternative for it?

HU55A6106 Is the new boards version. The original was A6103
I realized that the option will not work as on the replacement board there is connector which sends a signal to an oscillator board on the power supply to control the backlights.. So the firmware won't work per say.
The power supply board for this specific board has an extra board which i assume is a power oscillator....Leave a comment:

I cleaned the usb booted to a clean usb os and formatted the usb and made sure it was empty, tried both firmwares( usb_xxxxxxxx.bin, usb_xxx.xxx.xx.bin and none worked.. i tried renaming the files as you suggested also failed.. both on settings and rebooting while holding power on rc.

It didn't work. I tried everything. I formatted and checked if the flash was empty, it was, I copoed the file. But the TV doesn't recognize the upgrade. I don't know if it's the chipset or something. But it's not working. It's refusing to flash the firmware...Leave a comment:

I dont want to burn this BL's because changing them is a hassle, a big hassle. I am looking for the firmware Diah suggessted and try upgrade or downgrade it while i wait for the Mainboard for the A6103 to arrive.

Its a mainboard issue.. This particular mainboard has a connector which i think sends a signal for the backlights. My A6103 doesnt have that capabilty.. So i resolved to get a mainboard for the MEA region....Leave a comment:

Immediately there is any load. Aerial, DTV, HDMI, Youtube. Anytype of load. But if you turn it off completely and start it again it just starts up normally. If there was a faulty strip am pretty sure it wouldnt go on because they are very sensitive.

Yes, I think i will just have to get the correct mainboard for the A6103.. I saw the power supply for the american version and it's totally different. So the structuring of the backlights is very different, so my power supply wouldn't suffice. Even if I add an external inverter, it still would have some issues, Thanks for the help. With the Replacement Board the TV starts very well, Backlight only disappears when you try any load (hdmi,aerial,youtube) When you restart the TV It starts up fine. Sorry about the bad photos. What i know about the leds is one is bad they all dont light up....Leave a comment:
