Alienware X15 R2 LA-L611 No power

Not having the best of luck with my own gadgets atm - I own two identical X15 R2 laptops, both have died suddenly with no prior issues. I have time to focus on one of them and in this post. I might need some hand-holding with this so I kindly ask for some understanding

Make: Alienware
Model: X15 R2
Motherboard: LA-L611
CPU: i9-12900H
GPU: RTX 3080Ti

History: I was using the machine as normal when it suddenly switched off and never came back on. I've owned the machine for over a year and use a Dell Thunderbolt Dock to charge my laptop with....

Hi guys,
its been around 5-6months since i left this board on side to rest my brain cells and now came back to try and repair it again.

The laptop in question has issue where it gives error code on power on which is 2red and 3 blue

In short, by Dell specs this means "Memory not detected: "

Now one important thing the laptop would turn on fine when i leave it in the refrigerator for 5-10min and i could work\play games with it for days and months as long as i dont turn it off
but after a while this trick stopped working as wel

yes its 0hms and voltage is same on both side, i manually measured it.

Alienware missing 3v 5v

Hi there, after cleaning my Alienware it lost "almost" all signs of life.

Before I did anything on it while it was still working I took some notes and voltages of the main inductors and resistance measurements.

I noticed it's missing the main 3v and 5v,

Here is the current situation in easy to follow order.

- power button has 3v
- Bios chip has no voltage on its pins
- present voltages 20v , 12v, 3.9v , 3 and 5 volts in certain areas only
- first 2 MOSFETs near the 3v and 5v inductor have voltage BUT not on the gates...

Splice DC jack from one Alienware model to another

I waited 5 days for this to arrive only to find it's not the right model! Rather than wait for a China order, I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to cut and splice/solder anywhere?

12 pins vs 10 pins, it's a for a Dell AlienWare x15 R2 (P111F003) and the one advertised on eBay was Dell Alienware 15 R1 R2 R3 AW15R1 AW15R2 DC IN Power Jack 0784VK DC30100TN00.

Also, there seem to be 4 wires soldered to the back of the jack on the X15 R2 and only 3 on the 15 R2. What would the 4th one be?

Alienware x15 r2 black screen

Hi there I hope someone can help me with fixing this issiue

Symptoms

My Alienware x15 r2 stopped working, which is around 2years old.
power light and keyboard turns on, power lights give 2red and 3 blue lights,
screen stays black

From dell error codes it says this is error [TABLE]

[TD][B]2,3[/B][/TD]
[TD]No memory or Random-Access Memory (RAM) detected[/TD]
[/TR]
[/TABLE]

after disassembling and removing battery removing any electricity...

Alienware Keyboard Not Working In Windows

Alienware x15 R2
Service Tag: 8XCW5M3
Motherboard no: LA-L611P
Keyboard will work properly in Bios settings _we can press F2 and all keys working in bios
after windows load keyboard will not work
no caps lock light,_no response._keyboard backlight is working..
tested with new keyboard - same issue
installed all drivers from official site
tried with windows 10 & windows 11

if anyone know this solution, please share your experiences
