    free samples

    at low-esr.com

it's niccomp.com, presumably giving samples to dealers

their NRS* series looks appropriate, but I can't see a way for an individual customer to see a price, much less to order online

they're also giving a way a free mat there

Lol, they show the hybrids mounted to a bee hive with honey bee's dancing around.
      The SK reduced size
      SG longlife rated
      SJ lowest cost
      SX high rcr low esr
      SZ industry standard
What the? Why don't they just combine all these "features" and call them SH-T.

Great cross reference list on that site and if caps are as good as they say they should love to have people say so.
The badcaps site is important and I've been telling others to check it.

i have some and they appear to rebadge other brands.
i have some that seem to be sanyo and a 6800@6.3 that appears to be a panasonic.
if that is the case they are probably good quality.

About replacing individual LEDS on BL strips
            by edugimeno
            Hi There!
Having fixed 5-6 TV sets by replacing full LED strips, and having watched other people fix that by replacing just one LED in the strip, my question now is what should I consider before doing so.

At this time I have some old strips removed from TV's with all but one LED working. Are there different voltage/current LED on different strips? Are 99% of them just the same and interchangeable?

How do you find which specific model is needed for each strip? When I check if a LED is OK by attaching the multimeter leads to the individual led pads on the strips I...

Rx 570 not giving image. Voltage measurements included.
            by defame5
Hey all, I've been trying to fix a rx570 XFX XXX edition 8gb. Keep in mind I've no knowledge so I've been doing this solely using tutorials. Any help is appreciated.

8pin connector led is open when pc boots, but nothing else happens (no image).
Fans don't spin. Before the gpu broke completely, the fans used to spin at max rpm at the start and there were some wonky things happening in general, so it was probably defective already.

CH341A programmer always giving me a corrupted bin files
            by Kaiser0000
Recently purchased myself a Lenovo Laptop L14 Gen 2 AMD version.

Like with a lot of these used laptops sold on ebay, they come with a bios password.
I tried the typical solutions of unplugging the cmos battery, shorting the terminals, and waiting an hour. Didn't work.
So I dug deeper to find out I need a CH431A programmer and SOIC8 clip to read the bios off the GD25Q80CSIG NOR Flash and decrypt the password.
I have tried doing this, but each time I try loading the .BIN file in UEFITool, i get: "not a single Volume Top File is found, the image may be corrupted"....

when i measure it outside i found that only 1.3V on SDA/SCL pins. no PS_ON voltage or other voltages

what can i measure to have better understanding where is problem?

Microsoft just Giving 11 Away these days?

I was experimenting with a clean Win11 install on an Asrock J3455-ITX. Install went fine, blank drive, no key entered (it asked for one). Unmodified ISO, just the CPU pre-checks removed.

I do this all the time for experiments with 10....install the OS and run it not activated, but still 100% functions....but get a load of this:

Connected to the interwebs, and it activated....

No idea why.....no key was ever entered. Board is not an OEM (dell, hp, lenovo, etc), so no embedded key; I was asked for a key and just clicked "i don't have...
