Hi, I have a PlayStation 4 that won't start... and when it started, it couldn't be updated... My question is... If I copy the 25q40 dump and send it to you, could you repair it? I don't know if it's the culprit, but I'll try.Comment

After connecting to the mains, the backlight immediately starts flashing and no TV image can be controlled. When the connectors to the display are disconnected, the backlight is on and the TV can be controlled.Comment

Most likely the problem is in the panel, install a jumper on the motherboard between points FB_TRDY_1 and FB_TRDY_3 and disconnect the lvds cables one by one and see which half of the panel has the problem.Comment

I would be grateful for any advice. thanksComment

In the first case, I had it soldered incorrectly.
pin 1 (connector CN1300), last pin (connector CN1301_UT)
I just tried it, the TV does not restart. It can be controlled with both LVDS connectors connected. The image does not appear even with one connector disconnected.

by JSin21Hoping someone here could possibly help. I have a few questions in regards to compatibility with main boards. But I'll give a quick short run down on what's going on first;
I have Samsung Smart TV UA65MU6100WXXY version DA01
Now years ago it started intermittently playing up after a lighting strike. Lighting hit the block of units i was living in at the time. Ever since that night the TV started having a mind of its own, It would randomly turn itself off or on, and all inputs stopped responding like HDMI, aerial, but USB still worked. Anyway, over the next few months...4 Photos -
This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.
Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today.... -

I got the tv in spring 2024. At that time it started, then ran 60 sec and poweroff. Seemed like reboot issue. I didn't have time and room to check it in summer so I plugged it in and now the standby light is on. I press button on remote, standby light goes off and tries to start?. No picture or backlight on LCD. I thought about removing diodes like in this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...sung-qled-q60r... - Loading...
