Which device do you recommend then ? Or may it exists an alternative software or patch for it ?

Re: SAMSUNG UE55MU6405 - no standby

For such cases, you need a cleaned one without (BB) and with corrected ECC Dump.
Or prepare Dump for a certain Nand (knowing it (BB))
Old, native better quality Nand chips than those sold in China.

If anything, then I can prepare a correct dump for you under native Nand, I only need addresses (BB) on your Nand after erasing the chip.

Re: SAMSUNG UE55MU6405 - no standby

This is interesting. I had a samsung with similar problem. But i had standby light, dark screen until i disconnected the cable between ps and mb, then the backlight lit up. I fixed a new mb from eBay (BN41-01990A) it's an hotel-tv. that fixed the problem. But do you guys mean that i could fixed it with new firmware?

                  Hi,
The red light and the backlight flashing (dimming) every 5 seconds, no picture.

So maybe the problem is in the panel itself, disconnect the cable between the motherboard and the panel and turn on the TV and see if it behaves the same way.

Hello friends, I have the same problem...the standby LED is not there...if I disconnect the mainboard from the power supply, it causes the LEDs to light up...I bought another ue55mu6409uxzg mainboard because they told me it is compatible...so I mounted it and the TV is now on fire and the standby LED stays on... but a piece of the bottom of the screen does not detect it and the distorted colors cannot be seen well... I tried changing the panel option from the menu service but nothing....what should I do?...do you think that if I program the new eeprom with the data from the old eeprom would it work?...or would I have to try to fix the old mainboard by erasing the eeprom and writing it again? thank you and I hope for answers

I suppose the TV had a short... the LEDs burned out... the panel (now I have it with the tape method) and it seems like the mainboard too... but as I told you, I bought another version of the mainboard and tv works for me

The most reliable option is to restore the original dump (25Q40), since in addition to the T-CON firmware (25Q80), where all the settings of your panel are stored, there may be position resistors on the motherboard and they also need to be rearranged, as on the original motherboard...
Does your motherboard number BN94-XXXXX match the original board?

Yes, the last letters in the number are different “R” and “N”, this can happen with different panels (manufacturers), so as not to program anything yet, try transferring from the original spi flash 25Q80 board to a new one.

IC1603_W25Q80DVSIG - is responsible for the settings of your panel. IC1604_W25Q40 - (standby power) is responsible for turning on the TV.

Thank you very much again for responding...the programmer will arrive tomorrow...first I will make copies before doing anything just in case...then I will do what you told me...transfer the files...and If it doesn't go well...could I recover the original card? Could it be that the eeprom is corrupted or something like that? thank you

If there is no standby mode, it does not turn on (the Sb LED does not light up), then the probability of such a breakdown is 99% to blame for the firmware, “the cap flies off” in IC1604_W25Q40.

So I would have to add the firmware to IC1604_w25q40 to the original mainboard using the programmer, right? Would I have it by chance?
