Hello.
I found a bad smoothing cap efter the 230-24V transformer. The specific one are mounted on the negative side of the diode after the transformer on the 24V side. It supplies +24vdc and -24vdc
it's a 50V 22uF one. The closest I found at home is rated 100V, 39uF. Can I use that or what could fail?

I put a small NVM.eed file on the stick and loaded it in usb port 1. As William wrote, the tv probably got into a T-con protection, and that file overruled it. so the fault is probably still there but have to try it little bit more to se if i notice something with the picture.
But is the TV still safe to use with that kind of solutions??...

it started up now. I downloaded a software with a usb stick. Thanks for all the help!...

Philips 55POS9002/12 - No PS_ON voltage from main board
I wondering if there are some usual faults regarding the PS_ON signal from main board to PSU board?
Where do i start looking?
I have standby light and the PSU is working if i connect 3.3V to the PS_ON pin on the psu board....
-
Do you have the schematic for the main board as well?
Or do I need to buy a new one as I don’t get the PS_ON signal to psu?...

Ok, now I connected only psu board and 3.3v from my bench supply to PS_ON. 8,6V rises to 12.55v as expected 👍 but the 24V_A pin (MB connector) also have 12.55V. I don't now what's happening there? Seems only to be separated by a few inductors from the 12V potential.
But can we now confirm that the main board is the issue?...

Is it enough if I connect my bench psu to PS_On?
is it 3.3v?...

Ok. Now I am pretty sure that it’s flashing 3 pause, and then 40.

It's flashing very rapidly. It's impossible to count. But first 3 ast and then pause and then around 40 very rapidly. Then it starts over.
i tried to film in slow motion and count. its around 40, but still hard to count....

Hmm. Maybe it’s something wrong with the MB then.
I don’t have the remote, but it should work by pushing the button in the back?
the led in the new picture is constantly flashing. Any clue what that means?...1 Photo

Now with everything connected i only have 8,6v on the 12v socket that goes to MB. Same on the 24vA...

This was without load. Only the psu board itself. Tried with all connected together, but no 12 or 24v either. Maybe do I need the PS_on/off from motherboard first?...

Ok, thanks. But now it seems that it is more problem than i thought. 12v and 24v are not working. The chip (in new picture) that will drive the mosfet for the transformer seems to have a pulsating voltage on the Vcc, so i don't think it starts up. Any thoughts about that?...
