    Hisense LTDN58K700XWTSEU3D backlight, spot and horizontal lines

    good night! I have this tv with several problems. I imagine the darkened area is a failure of the backlight. but in the photos you can see a worse problem. I see horizontal lines and spots. I don't know if the TV has been opened, but they look like stains from handling inside the sheets. on the other hand I am concerned about the horizontal lines. I don't know if it could be a panel failure, and if it could have happened at the same time as the dark zone.

      Open the set and try removing one ribbon to one panel side at a time and post resulting findings.

          When I remove one of the lvds cables I keep seeing the same spots by horizontal lines, and the screen lights up the same, with the central fault, seeing an image on one half of the screen. If I remove the other ribbon cable, everything is the same, but you can see the other half of the image

              hi guy my friend gives me this tv a 50tu8070u that has no picture at all, sound ok, backlights ok. i tought it was a bad panel, but the tv has many horizzontal lines green, i tried with the tape method but nothing change, only the green lines disappear but still no picture.               • Hisense 65H6570G stopped working and I root caused to a burnt out LED in the backlight. (For anyone interested the power light pattern when the backlight has gone is 1) two long flashes, 2) a very short third flash, then 3) back to solid red )
              • I replaced all 6 of the backlight LED strips with these replacements: amazon
              • The TV worked again perfectly for ~2 weeks.

              Hi guys

              I just started fixing 4k TV few months ago. so I am still learning a lot
              I got this tv from friend complaint is ghosting or horizontal lines on image.

              never saw the original symptom but I took the tv back home. the funny part is that after bringing to home, the tv worked fine no issue for 3 weeks.
              then it started to show the ghosting white image.

              Hi, I have a Sony XBR-65X750D that has horizontal lines at the bottom 6 inches of the screen. These lines appear to be every other line because the picture is still quite visible behind those lines. The lines appear all the time with a few other lines above and below the 6 inch level blinking on and off at about 2 second intervals. I'm not sure if this is a panel issue or power supply/main board problem. I did replace the T-Con board without any change in the problem. Any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated.               5.5 year old 85 inch Sony Bravia X950G started showing gray horizontal lines across the bottom of the screen and the picture shifts slightly vertically when it happens. The lines sometimes get bigger/smaller vertically and bounce back. See the video for the problem. It seems to be happening after it warms up after an hour or so. Happens regardless of source.
