LG B9 OLED is This a Bad Panel ?

There is some banding/fine lines near the top of the screen and there is screen flickering associated with. Seems to be related to luminance; not real visible or noticable when picture information is darker.

The defect seems to originate from that upper left corner as does the flickering.

I have a short video I will attach to the next post as soon as I find out how to do it.

Here's a short video of the defect it's not the best but it's all I've got. Maybe someone has seen it before on these sets.

That seems to me like a COF on the side has a problem.

I guess based on the video I posted such as it is this is likely inconclusive at best ?

LG OLED; Component-level repair on OLED panel?
              by Oled_gambler
So I gambled and (likely) lost $200 on a pair of OLED C1 televisions, hoping I can Frankenstein them into 1 working unit.

one had a physically-damaged panel and the other had a panel that would display normally (with the exception of a single vertical white line down the left-hand side) but turn off after around 10 seconds. I believed I would find an overheated processor (common on the CX) or a failed power board (also common).

Swapped the power, mainboard, and T-con from the dead panel TV and issue persists.

Looks like the actual panel is at fault. I can...

Sony KD-65A1 Repair – 4 Red Blinks Error
              by AK_777
              Hi everyone!
I have a Sony KD-65A1 TV with a fault – 4 red LED blinks. After disassembly and visual inspection, I found that the G76 power board and DKA board had been replaced. It is also possible that TCON was replaced, but I am not sure – there are a few marker marks that could be factory-made.

Based on assumptions, the previous service attempted to solve the issue by replacing potentially faulty components. I decided to investigate further, found a service manual, and figured out a way to power up the power supply unit autonomously and put the OLED panel and...

              Interesting unusual Panel Defect ?
              by Ancient1
              Hi

Pilot PD43S9HE Led TV . Panel model: See in photos

Photos tell it all really. ( added Logo image photo )
The bulge in the area before the panel Matrix .
To me it looks like a local short that heated inside.

Should I waste my time in flipping the panel , as if this issue can be repaired ?
The distribution board at this end looks ok , though I did not measure anything

              What are your thoughts ?

              Cheers

LG 49UJ6500 LCD panel lighter band that goes away
              by howardc64
49UJ6500 LCD panel has a lighter band on top when first powered on. Goes away (or gets much fainter) after TV on for a few min. After powered off for awhile and power back on, same band appears. If powered on immediately after powering off, no or much fainter band. Running the latest firmware.

Disassembled the TV and lifted the LCD panel during testing. Band is on the LCD panel (can see the band on the panel as I lift it slightly) Backlight is perfectly even at the top edge. Double checked LCD panel alignment in the frame and is perfect but since band moved with the panel, its on...
