Re: Philips TV keeps restarting, is this MB the same as mine please?
Seems a bit complicated for me but a few days ago I unplugged the cables that link the MB to the powerboard and nothing happened.

Re: Philips TV keeps restarting, is this MB the same as mine please?
I'm never comfortable buying a mainboard til I have proven the backlights and powerboard when possible, usually by starting powerboard as stand alone, by using jumper wires or can use resistors for safety, that's WITH cable from powerboard to mainboard UNPLUGGED. not familiar with this board, so I don't know which ones would need to be jumpered.Last edited by nomoresonys; 08-02-2022, 03:43 PM.Leave a comment:

Re: Philips TV keeps restarting, is this MB the same as mine please?
yes that one, some philips it can be the number on the bottom of the sticker, suppose it could be the top number as well on some, can be a 12 digit string, don't have to match every single digit on the whole sticker but there's about 12 in the string that should probably match.
ok... so I have to look at all the cards I dismissed on ebay now, to see if the numbers on this sticker match. Lots of work in perspective...Leave a comment:

Re: Philips TV keeps restarting, is this MB the same as mine please?
And you think it's a power board problem?
There is another board called TCON, don't know what it is and where it is exactly, but could it be the problem ? (I find one for my model on ebay)Leave a comment:

Re: Philips TV keeps restarting, is this MB the same as mine please?
I'm not saying it's a mainboard problem, just answering your question. you need to match up the numbers on the white stickers, not the silkscreen on the board, from what I see on the white stickers, it looks way off.Last edited by nomoresonys; 08-02-2022, 03:13 PM.Leave a comment:

Re: Philips TV keeps restarting, is this MB the same as mine please?
okay... i cant see on the MB CSM point.. if other can see please located for us.
let do it proffisional trouble shotting.. yours TV 2013 and more old. it could be the restart from other reason.. because logo when it show on screen there are no protecting mode.. bur after logo finish start the protecting script.. this way we need to start from LED back light.
you have on the BL socket at PSU 2 channel you need to put yours probe of DM in DC V mode and put the red on LED1+ and the black on LED- then turn on... you need to do the same if you have one more at any channel Led- listed your reading over here please to compare if we do have one channel or line at channel read less or more.Leave a comment:

by alfonzzoHello,
My Philips TV 40PFL3148H/12 keeps restarting as soon as the Philips logo is displayed, as soon as I plug it. The remote doesnt have any effect on it anymore, plus no red light on the tv panel as usual.
After contacting their support, they sent me a file to update the firmware from usb but without success (8gb 2.0 drive formatted in fat32).
Then they told me that it was a hardware problem.
Here is a video of the problem : https://streamable.com/8ixf1u
Thanks for your help... -
by alro7779Hello, guys!
The same 32" Philips TV I was having video issues, but now I don't have standby led at all. Someone here shared with me the schematic of the power supply, and checking the voltages, I see right after the resistor R604 I'm getting 1.6 v which is too low for enabling the Gate of the Q601 mosfet (the diagram says 4.2). On the R614 resistor I'm getting 181 V in and 117 V out, then through R603 I'm getting the same 117 V in and 59.9 V out, finally getting the latter voltage in the R604 BUT getting just 1.6 V out, which is the voltage that goes on to the Gate of the Q601... -
by G33RTPhilips 8200 series 65PUS8204/12 stuck at Philips Logo, it does not reboot it just stays on the logo.
It does power up when pressing the power button.
I already try the power button while plugin the plug with no result.
Also put the latest firmware autorun-TPM191E_R.001.004.100.000.upg on a MBR/FAT32 USB stick at USB port2 with no result either.
Could this be an PSU or eMMC issue ? -
by double_DDHi all,
Wife has 2 Philips hair curling irons half defective - after learning how they're supposed to work and testing them, it turned out that both have defective power cables, and both on the same place; broken wires due to wire bending.
As they were both relatively easy to disassemble, and cables are plugged not soldered (as they can rotate in the handle), I was sure it would be easy to find replacements. But - NO! I'm unable to find anything similar on ebay or Aliexpress.
Not sure if this is something Philips proprietary, or a standard, but the cable plug... -
by aidanmoHello,
I've got a really strange issue with the speakers on my Philips 43PUS7506/12. It makes this awful loud buzzing now. It happened after it was attempted to be wall mounted - I think the back got squeezed and something broke.
I thought maybe the speakers got damaged, so I replaced them - no dice.- Using the internal speakers, it always happens.
- Using the headphone jack, it never happens.
- Using the digital/optical out with a soundbar - it happens after about 2h/movie runtime - it's never as drastic, it just pops in and out, but I didn't want it to damage the sound bar
