If it is ONE LED, how can it be two colors at once?

When you power off the LCD, and plug it in? Does it go green first?

The sequence and timing of makes a huge difference on what to look troubleshoot next. That is why this question is so specific.

If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.

We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.

Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

As soon as I plug in the Power supply. the ONE dual color LED lights up both colors at once. I tried to take a picture of the LED, but it does not show up, it washes out and you can't tell both colors are lit. You can see at the base of the LED that both colors are lit at the same time in person...you'll have to trust me on this one.......
They never change to one or the other and they stay on till I unplug it.

Also, my laptop "detects" it with plug and play beep.

The logic board is putting out 11.3 vdc to the inverter board, have 2 inverters since I have 2 monitors and neither seem to make a difference.

Ther is a simple explanation for this. There appears to be two 'processors' on the logic card. One handles the interaction with the front panel, backlights, and also turns on the power to the LCD panel. The other handles the video signal. The first one is defective, and is cycling the power LED at a high rate.

So, does anyone have any other ideas on what to test next? I'm going to start on the other board I think...maybe I'll have better luck.... Can anyone suggest a cross reference for the mosfet listed above? I can't find them at digikey, mouser, jameco, or on google searches???

No, put it on the back burner. Now it will most likely end up in the trash. I don't even remember what the last thing was I tried.

I suggest posting your monitor on your local craiglist/kijiji to give away as others may be able to use parts.

Blown fuses on Gigabyte GTX 980TI 6GB
                    by MrzPdlch
                    Hey everyone,

I just went ahead and unscrewed a faulty GTX 980 TI from Gigabyte. What I found beneath the cooler was, as it seems, a common issue of that card. Two blown fuses on the bottom right corner of the card next to a MOSFET.
Now my question would be if there is any schematics of that card available to figure out which are the blown components so I can try and replace them together with the mosfet if needed.

Find some pictures of the actual GPU together with a picture of how it should look like.
I also wonder whther it might be a problem that there...

Sonos Play 1 with blown cap and fuses
                    by BMCappelletti
                    Hi there.
I was given a Sonos Play 1 (yeah, very old) that does not turn on.
Checking the main board, I can see a blown cap, that connects to two blown fuses. Right by the LAN port.
Where should I start looking for the main fault?
                    Thank you....

                    Sharp LC-40LE812E fuses blown
                    by gozotto
                    Hello,
I repaired a Sharp LC-40LE812E TV with the main power board DPS-126CP B.
All fuses blown and the capacitor C7813 (220pF 1KV) was cracked. After replacing both, the TV works again without any problems. After 2 weeks the same problem apears with the same symptoms. What can the C7813 blown again and again? The schematic can be found here.

                    Thanks in Advance

How an incandescent light and a ESR meter ** friend**have a machine blowing fuses
                    by sam_sam_sam
About a month ago we had a transformer jumper wire that burned in two different places between two transformers caused over $200 thousand dollars worth of damage to VFD drives at least 10 of them and a memory card and quite a few power supply as well

Now we have most of the equipment that got damaged back up and running except a feeder that has issues and we are waiting for some parts for

Now we also have another piece of equipment that was blowing fuses on the 110 volt controller switch circuit with the ā€œEā€ stops and one switching power (24 volt) supply and a transformer...
