    LG55UK6950PLB backlight but no picture

I've got an LG55UK6950PLB, I have backlights but no picture, I've read about AVDD 17v in another thread on here, I've messed around blocking lines , previously I had only 17v on the left side with the left LVDS connected and 3.9v on the right, now since blocking lines I've got 17v on both sides but no sign of a picture yet.

I would be grateful for any help as this one is doing its best to psssssi me right off lol

How did you manage to get a picture?
Have you checked the tab bonds for obvious damage i.e burnt out?

Think I had that issue too, screen darker on one side due to tab bond. Was able to get brightness back luckily, believe it was caused by a short.

Hi! How could you make it work? I’ve got a TV with the following issue:
If I remove left cable, I can measure VCC, VDD etc voltages on the right LCD board. If I disconnect right cable, and only left cable is connected, I can not measure any voltage on the left cable.
More interesting, I tried the “tape fix”. I covered CK lines One by One and all together too, but No changes. Do you have any tip for furthet fixes?

          Additional info:

If I disconnect the left ribbon I can measure VCC, VDD on the right side, but IC800 is getting very hot. It's an i-2111 J824 IC. What it does? Has anybody info about it?

              Lotas, thanks the schematics!!!
Based on them I could disable the IC800 / i2111.
( removed the resistors before and after this IC. R801, R820 )

It seems, that I still have a short on HAVDD line. I removed the big cap from this line ( C806 ), but the short is still there.

Do you have any additional tip for the repair?

C807 is also on the same line as C806 (maybe other capacitors located elsewhere, or maybe in the panel itself ...).

It seems that the panel itself is faulty

Samsung TV model UE50TU: rebooting, backlight, sound, but no picture
                    by TR103
                    Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
                    - sound and backlight, but no picture
                    - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
                    - it keeps rebooting
                    - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
                    - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
                    - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

                    - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...

Samsung UN60EH6000F Black Screen, Backlight and Sound Good. Power Cycle Returns Picture
                    by Mgiffune
I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and

Samsung UE60KU6079 backlight okay mainboard responsive, no picture, no sound
                    by Ierwin
                    Hello everyone,
Ive got a UE60KU6079 on the workbench that is giving me some headaches trying to troubleshoot.
The previous owner stated that there had been white dots on the screen which from the description sounded like some lenses fell of the backlight LEDs.
He had opened the TV from the back, trying to get to the backlight, supposedly gave up, reassebled everything and gave the TV to me.
I expected the worst like ripped COF cables or a cracked panel but could not find anything like that yet.
Anyway I still fully expect that there has been something seriously damaged...

Sony XBR-85X950G Gray horizontal lines and vertical picture shift diagnosis?
                    by noisykid
5.5 year old 85 inch Sony Bravia X950G started showing gray horizontal lines across the bottom of the screen and the picture shifts slightly vertically when it happens. The lines sometimes get bigger/smaller vertically and bounce back. See the video for the problem. It seems to be happening after it warms up after an hour or so. Happens regardless of source. Right now there's nothing but power cable connected and it's happening. We did hook up a new Nintendo Switch to our HDMI switching receiver today, and played for a while with no issues, but this problem didn't occur til a few hours later while...

Philips 50PUS7363/12 Backlight but no picture
                    by groomit
                    Hi,
I'm having trouble with above mentioned TV. Bought it defect.
Picture was heavily compressed around the horizontal axis. Fiddeled and tried different things (mask clock lines, swap T-Con). But no difference.
Then I identified a heating capacitor on the left hand Signal-PCB (?) below the display. Replaced it by hand soldering. Checked for shorts afterwards. But now the screen stays black.

I can see backlight, but screen stays black.
                    What I've tried:
                    - Disconnect right side cable from T-Con -> same (backlight but no pic)
                    - Disconnect left side...
