you may try it several time
This did not work, no picture or BL or power LED flash or anything. tried multiple times, both with the TV power button (remote batteries out) and with remote. Tried holding the TV power button after plugging the TV too, the original issue of logo happens. Tried holding the remote power button after turning the TV on, same issue.

also because yours TV Android which you didn't mentioned about at yours first post... i went in method of vidaa system. so no need to rename.. and use the exact instruction the service send to you..

if the tv didn't accept the firmware after this change.. it could be yours android version the last one.. just contact service and they will send you another recovery firmware.

this why we encourage all when the post to write full information on the tv. as small hiding info will drive us to wrong direction.
I apologize for not mentioning the android TV part.
I tried a 2GB fresh formated FAT32 MBR mode. Same results. BL on one power LED flash no picture, restart, BL on one power LED flash, restart, BL on some purple line sections flashing and moving up and down one power LED flash, repeat.

I do not have any instrument to check the voltages now, That need to be tomorrow. I appreciate it if you can walk me through how and where I need to check for various issues (BL, Logic board, Power board, etc.)

If it is any help, The power LED light on the tv starts as ON when the TV os OFF, when I turn the TV ON, the power LED light turns OFF, then flashes 2 times before the TV turns off and the power LED light goes back to ON. It tries to do the 3rd flash, but in the middle of it it TV turns OFF and power LED light goes back to ON.

yep, time to take the back cover off and give it a good looking over and voltage testing, seems like backlight issue.

PQI is the name of the manufacturer. I am using Windows.
How do I check if the BL is the problem?

Surface 7 Pro wont boot, shows Logo and immediately turns off
    by taslan
    Hello everyone,
as stated in the title, my surface 7 pro wont boot anymore.
When i press the power button it shows the square windows logo for a second and immediately turtns off again.
I dont even have a chance to get into bios or boot from usb.
While trying to find help online it was suggested to look for help/repair here on badcaps and it might be a ME Region corruption in bios.
I dont know what that is exactly, but i never tinkered with the bios or windows in terms of hacking/patching etc.
Bought it directly from microsoft and used it now and then and only...

46PFL5507K/12 - Shows a "Hourglass" logo then turns off the backlight - No sound
    by IIOSOH
    Hi,

I'm trying to fix a Philips TV [46PFL5507K/12] for a friend. A few seconds after turning it "ON" a hourglass appears and stays on the screen for around a second, then the screen goes black again, there is no picture nor sound when i connect via HDMI to my PC.

I've opened it up and took a few measurements, but i can't seem to find the correct schematic for this exact model. The official service manual has detailed schematics and info for pretty much every other TV from the series but just some generic information about this exact part number so i measured...

    TV Model: Hitachi 40HYC42
    Power Supply: 17IPS71
    MainBoard: 17MB95M
    Panel: VES400UNDS-2D-NO3

When the set came in it was dead. Fuse was open primary side and the power mosfet was shorted. So I ordered a new power supply. Now it turns on, only displays "Hitachi" and then power off red and blue led flashing.

I had to modify the 0ohm resistors in the led backlight of the new PS like the original power supply.
Is there any variants on 17IPS71 power supply's?

    Hisense 55H8F Emmc programming help
    by EazyBone
I am extremely new to programming and dipping into this. I picked up a XGECU T48 Programmer and have the correct socket for EMMC.
I took the EMMC off a working main board with no problems and threw it into the programmer. I click analysis IC and it gives me a report (attached) of the current EMMC. Model H26M41204HPR

    1) I manually found this chip(above model number) in the select IC section of the XGPRO 12.xx programmer software and it had a option for 4 bit and 1 bit. I chose 4... is this correct?

    2) In the options section point number 2 operation says "30...

Dell XPS 9300 (LA-H811P) internal display only shows Dell logo then nothing (everything else works)
    by TheQuentincc
    Hi,
I have a Dell XPS 9300 that's working perfectly fine with an external display plugged, from windows the internal display isn't detected. At boot I can see the Dell logo then when it should display the boot/bios or whatever the screen goes black (no backlight, no image using a flashlight). I tried unplugging everything on the motherboard except the eDP cable but it didn't helped (so it's not the lid sensor). LCDVDD/backlight power are powered down when this happen, PANEL_BKEN_EC and ENVDD_PCH are also down to 0v. It's weird, it almost feels like the motherboard is shutting down the display...
