    Hitachi 40HYC42

    TV Model: Hitachi 40HYC42
    Power Supply: 17IPS71
    MainBoard: 17MB95M
    Panel: VES400UNDS-2D-NO3

When the set came in it was dead. Fuse was open primary side and the power mosfet was shorted. So I ordered a new power supply. Now it turns on, only displays "Hitachi" and then power off red and blue led flashing.

I had to modify the 0ohm resistors in the led backlight of the new PS like the original power supply.
Is there any variants on 17IPS71 power supply's?

UART output pins 10 and 12 on scart connector:

After hours of troubleshooting, I found out it's the protection being actiavted. Can someone help me understand this circuit? If I make a jumper fom 3.3V to TP7 and the TV works

Is there any variants on 17IPS71 power supply's?
there are many variants of this power supply what are the revision numbers of the boards? 17IPS71-xx There are even changes between the same revision sometimes.

Do you have all four voltages present to the protection circuit? and are all the components for that circuit installed?

Capacitors of the same make/series that consistently fail in one amplifier while they rarely fail in a different make amp
        by Perry Babin
This is for car audio amplifiers but I doubt that matters. There are amplifiers that use the same make/series capacitor as a different manufacturer and they consistently fail in one brand. In the other they are OK. The amplifiers are from the same era. Is it possible that the heating profile used when flow-soldering the boards could be the reason for the failure? If not, any ideas on what the difference could be?

        Hi sirs. please help
Dell Inspiron 5775 bios locked "Unlock Setup fail"

After generating the Password Recovery code, I go to the “Security” tab - “Locked Settings” - it says “Unlock Settings? I tried many wrong passwords and it shows an error to unlock settings [ Press any key ].
        What I did:
        I read the bios dump.
Downloaded the bios update to 1.6.0 from the official Dell website, extracted the dump from it, updated the bios, but the problem persisted. Please help me to solve the problem....
