After hours of troubleshooting, I found out it's the protection being actiavted. Can someone help me understand this circuit? If I make a jumper fom 3.3V to TP7 and the TV works -
Hitachi 40HYC42
TV Model: Hitachi 40HYC42
Power Supply: 17IPS71
MainBoard: 17MB95M
Panel: VES400UNDS-2D-NO3
When the set came in it was dead. Fuse was open primary side and the power mosfet was shorted. So I ordered a new power supply. Now it turns on, only displays "Hitachi" and then power off red and blue led flashing.
I had to modify the 0ohm resistors in the led backlight of the new PS like the original power supply.
Is there any variants on 17IPS71 power supply's?

Thank you. Just fixed one TV with this issue here. I just made sure to buy components from a trusted electronics supplier instead of order them from china. Thank you for all your replies.
All voltages are rock solid when the ficker ocurrs, even the 15v supply on the Y Board.
I found out that if i follow the sticker voltages it flickers a lot, so i reverted VSCW, -Vy and VSetup voltages back to "factory default". So the only adjustment I made was the Vs from 187v to 190v.
When it's cold it flickers when displaying strong colors, when it's warm it flickers but it's with less frequency.

Adjusted Some voltages. Still flickers and no voltage change while flickering.
VSCW: 115v , Adjusted to 115v
-Vy: -90v , Adjusted to -80v

Yes. The sound is always on and working nice even with the flickering.
I'm very familiar in working with electronics.
I took the back cover off, and checked the voltages to the sticker on my panel: Vs: 190v, Va:65v
Vs: Was 187v, so i adjusted to 190.1v and it's now better but it still flickers a little bit.
Va: Was 65v, OK.
Other Voltages:
VSCW: 115v
-Vy: -90v
VSetup: 219v
NO bulged capacitors were found in all boards.

TV: LG RZ42PX11
Type: Plasma
I have this old plasma that it's working fine. But it has a strange issue. If the picture is white, or has strong colors, it will flash and flicker. I attached a video showing the issue.
What could cause that?

No errors in bios post
No options to disable keyboard in bios
Later i found there are some caps involved in the keyboard circuit. Checked the caps for shorts. All OK....Leave a comment:

I have a Toshiba l500 with LA-4981P motherboard, and the internal keyboard is not working. I already replaced the keyboard. Checking the schemathic all keyboard traces go to the super io. So i resolder all the chip legs but the keyboard still isn't working. If i use a usb keyboard Num lock and caps lock light are working fine. What can i do from here? -

Repaired one by replacing one transformer taken from a broken Toshiba TV. Same board.
Mesured resistance between pins 4 & 5 of the transformers and had one in open line (O.L). Replaced the transformer and it's working.Leave a comment:
