I got this for free because the recycle place said it didn't work. Got it home and seemed to work fine. It played great as I kept it on for about 4 hours trying to see whats wrong. Shut it off and then immediately turned it back on. Guess what? No sound. Tried the same scenario with different sources and got the same result. Only get sound again if I let the tv sit for a while. I'm suspecting main board but wanted a few suggestions before I purchase another one. Thanks in advance

Re: Vizio D55-F2 audio problem
a few things to try if you didn't already, tv unplugged press and hold power button on tv for 30 seconds, factory reset, firmware update, did you see if the external speaker or headphone part works if equipped, that is during the fault condition?Last edited by nomoresonys; 04-08-2022, 10:30 AM.

The Problem: This player has a toggle switch to select between Stereo, Mono R, and Mono L. Regardless of the setting it outputs the sound to both the L&R audio jacks. In the Mono R position, the audio output level is normal (from both the L and R audio output jacks), in the Stereo position the audio output is about half the volume, and in Mono L, it's about 3/4 the volume. Something about putting it into Stereo mode is causing the volume to drop significantly and I can't figure it out.
The player processes the audio signal using two different reference frequencies. The "R"...2 Photos -

I have a problem with this MOTU audio card, a traveler MK3, the connection to the computer is via firewire, the card is recognized by the computer (both mac and win) but I have no audio output, on the front there are a series of LEDs including the clock (44.1, 48, etc.) and that LED at the time of connection usually remains fixed telling me the clock frequency set on the computer, now at every start the LED in question remains flashing in most cases, sometimes it becomes fixed, other times it disappears, without any sign of operation, I exclude problems with the firewire chip,...-

Hi. I have a problem that has been going on for some time (2-3 years). It's hard to explain what it really is. Sometimes, my computer stops playing music, stops videos (starts buffering on youtube), there is no sound in games and when I minimize the game window and return to the game there is a black screen with window borders... -
by tk5epHi,
I've been given a non working Stanmore JN3018 loudspeaker.
The power supply part works normally, I have all voltages on all chips. But no sound is coming out.
I tried to track the audio signal from the inputs to the loudspeaker.
Unfortunately, it's not easy, as most signals are PWM. But the analog part is working, and I can track the PWM at the inputs of the TAS5508c.
At the TAS5508c output, I only have pulses which I can find on the input of the final amplifier TAS5342a.
Can somebody help me to resolve this problem ?
Thanks-

by rajbotHi all:
I have a Vizio E60-E3 I am trying to troubleshoot a no power problem with. Thanks to the help on this board and elsewhere, I was pretty sure I had narrowed it to a power board problem. The board in question is a 09-60CAP0D0-00. Image attached for reference, but not of my board (tv is put away at the moment). FWIW, no obvious looking issues with the board.
I measured voltage at power in and on the fuse and saw 120V, so power is getting to the board.
On the pins out to the main board, I got no voltage at all on any of the pins. I assumed this... - Loading...
