Samsung UN55ES6100F power board output voltages ?

Hello everyone, I've searched the forum, got close on 1 thread but it was missing the info that I need...
The tv powers up with no backlight but it passes the flashlight test...
First, I've disconnected the mainboard from the power board (BN44-00503A), still no backlight. Before concluding on bad led strips, I wanted to check voltages at it's connector (CNL802):
Voltage on Pin 1 (or 2) to ground fluctuates from 299v to 321v but nothing between Pin 1 and Pin 9 ...
    Shouldn't I read any voltage there ?
I ordered a LED tester online (dont want to dismantle the entire panel if it's only a PSU problem), but meanwhile I figured one of you guys might
have an idea... Thanks for your time...

The led output should be 243v @ 367ma, the fact that it is over 300v would indicate the led string is open. Without any current draw from the led's in the panel, the led output voltage on the power supply board will be high.

      Hi, thanks for your reply...

Ok, understood, I have over 300v CNL802 plugged or not,
so at least one of the led strips is open...
But should I get anything when I test pin 8/9 to 1/2 on the PSU (with the LED connector unplugged) ?
With schematics would have been easy to figure (wich I tried to find without success)

Look at the back of the board, the supply for the led's is on 8,9, pins 4&6 are just connected together, pins 1,2 are the return but does not go directly to ground, the current through the led string is controlled by Q9101. with no current detected, the led controller will shut the circuit down.

Yes, saw that on the rear of the board, but didn't know about the led circuit being disabled if led strip is "open"...

Thank-you very much for your help sir !

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Samsung UN40H5003 boot loop every ~8 seconds
            by eigma
Hi, I rescued a Samsung UN40H5003AF (H = 2014 FHD) from the curb. Symptoms are: standby (red) light comes on, stays on for 8 seconds, flickers off, then comes back on, and the cycle continues.

            Service manual: https://www.electronica-pt.com/esque...is-u8la-71272/

SMPS board: checked voltages, all seem normal (A13V = 12.8V, UD = 3.3V, PWM_BLU = 0.77V, PS_OnOff = 5.5V). Remove 10p cable to main board -> backlight comes on. I think this means SMPS board and backlight are good.

Samsung UN65KU6290F PS board blows fuses
            by valvashon
Samsung UN65KU6290F (May 2017); received from local Buy Nothing group. Was listed as "just went dead" and they wanted it gone. I brought it home, didn't notice anything visually wrong with the power supply board, looked up the cost of a new one and that's about as far as it went. Family was tired of tripping on the foot of the set so I decided to dig in and repair or toss.

Can't believe that I didn't check it earlier but I found the main 8 amp fuse blown. Jumped across it with a 10 amp blade style fuse and you can see that it literally exploded inside the second I plugged...

Help Needed: Samsung UE55MU8000 Dead - Possible Main Board Issue
            by Asraf Atb
            Hi everyone,

Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.

Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.

I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....
