    Philips 55PFL6008K/12 QFU1.2E dead

    Hello good people,

please help me with TV Philips 55PFL556008K/12 chassis QFU1.2E with no reaction to switch on or any key on RC. No LED flashing.

On main board I can read 1.1V, 1.5V, 3.4V, 5V, 12.2V, when plugged to AC, the power consumption starts from 0W to about 20W, then drops to 16W and after while to 0W. CPU is warming up a little bit.

I guess the power supply board is OK and problem is on main board.

    What should I check?

    The manin board code is 3104 303 54946 B, 3104 313 66186 B

According to page 58 you appear to have all the voltages. Is there absolutely no other signs of life? Is the digital audio led output on the mainboard on?
There does appear to be an awful lot of fuses shown in the schematics that would be worth checking out.

Yes, digital audio LED lights for a while when plugged in AC and that voltage rails start up.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
              by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

              Assuming...

Yoga3 Pro-1370 Board NM-A321 DEAD no power at all
              by k370
              Hi everyone,

I have a NM-A321 board that is dead, with no power at all.

When I received the laptop, the +5VPMIC line was shorted. Removing the PU3 (ISL95905) solved the short, so I ordered and replaced the ISL.

With the new ISL, the short is gone, but still no voltages at all. I measured the following rails:
              • +3VALW
              • +5VAUX
              • 1.2VSUS_PWRGD
              • 3VALW_PGD
              • 1.05VAUX_PWRGD

Additionally, the ISL95906 (PU3) is not getting any voltage on the VIN rail.

The only place on the board where I find any voltage is on the first MOSFETs, specifically:...

Philips 65PUS8518/12 distorted image after main board replacement
              by tuner2000i
              hello everyone,

I don't normally do tv repairs but this is a case with my personal TV which got fried together with many other electronics in my house after a thunderstorm.

The TV is a Philips 65PUS8518/12 which had no power. I measured and concluded that the main board was probably fried through ethernet or hdmi. I found a board with same number 715GD328-M0F-B00-005Y (I had G) but from a 55PUS8518. The TV starts but the image is doubled, distorted. I need to set the panel code which is 016 according to the sticker on the back but I can not seem to do it.

Nikon D5 – dead, power board issue ?
              by corrize
Hello, the DSLR has heavyly fallen. It is dead : no sign of life and display nothing.

When it worked, it always displayed a card present state on LCD display, even when the battery is empty it display a empty battery symbol.
I found a dead fuse, I replaced it and a mosfet burnt, I changed it and another fuse burned. Nothing burned after. And I can't find any short circuit anywhere, it's weird.

Now, I try to understand how it works.

There is two boards (the little one on pictures has no component) : the first is a « power board » : managing...

Help Needed: Samsung UE55MU8000 Dead - Possible Main Board Issue
              by Asraf Atb
              Hi everyone,

Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.

Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.

I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....
