    Vizio D55u-d1

Picked this tv up from a family member who was throwing it out. I've had success with a few tv's and figured I'd take a look at it.

I figured it was the power board based on the the standby light going out rather quickly. I ordered a board from Shop Jimmy and I'm at the same spot. Currently the standby light comes on and fades away. The light on the main board is red, when the power button it pressed it turns purple and stays purple.

    Doing the following meter readings

L9201 (Wire runs to the LED Driver)

(24+) Meter shows a reading and it flashes out quick

I'm at a lost as I replaced the power board and it made no difference. There appears to be power to the main board. There is no video, no image with flash light test and no sound.

    Begging for help! Thank you

Need good clear straight on pictures of each board and one of the whole back as to see how they are all connected. If you have a stand alone tcon board, check for 12 volts on each side of the fuse, black neg. probe on metal chassis pos. probe on each side of fuse.

Broken solder joints at BGA's on main board is pretty typical

Alright I pulled the main board out today. Ran a heat gun over the back for about 15 minutes. Let it cool and put it back in. It kicked on the backlights. I didn't notice and image appear.

Pointing toward a main board issue now. I don't really want to put this in my oven to flow it. Doesn't appear to be many of these boards available.
