    Vizio M60-C3 Image Issues

I have an Vizio M60-C3 got it originally with a power on light and no picture would flash power light 15-16 times. Power board checks out and got a main logic board for it. It now powers with a bluish image, back light working. This post https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...ghlight=m60-c3

Seems to show that removing the perimeter ribbon cable could fix it. Just want to make sure that's the next step. And a quick description of how if I mess anything up its ruined. Thanks for any help.

No one? Guess I'll just dive in. Worst case a slower track to the bin of electronics.

Everything you need to know about the side tab peel off is in this thread, a lot of times the tell tale sign was distortion and or horizontal __, not vertical | line/s:

Explanation was for the folks who get horizontal and vertical mixed up, believe it or not it happens quite a bit.

My guess is either bad tcon board or bad panel.

            Vizio V585-H11 No Image Puzzle
            by Charleyd
When plugged in, Vizio V585-H11 powers up, the standby light flashes 18 times, but there is simply no image on the screen. I can see a glow from the backlights, and the sound works. Tearing in to it, all voltages coming out of the Power Supply appear reasonable. I suspect a bad panel, so I disconnect one of the two wide ribbon cables between the T-Con board and the panel. Now the TV starts up fine without the 18 flashes, and with a good image on 1/2 of the screen. If I switch to the other ribbon cable, the TV again starts up fine, but now with a good image on the other 1/2 of the screen. Still...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
            by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

            Assuming...

            Mainboard: VESTEL 17MB171 Chassis: VES315WNGB - 2D - N52
The TV was stuck on the logo and I couldn't access the update menu.
I couldn't find the firmware for the Hitachi 32HAE2351 and updated it with the Toshiba 32WA2063DG - Vestel 17MB171 firmware.
The image result was good, but the image is inverted.
The image rotation/mirror function doesn't exist in the Menu Server. I can't correct the image.
Do you have the firmware for the Hitachi 32HAE2351 - Vestel 17MB171 motherboard or a solution to rotate the image in...

Vizio V585-J01 dancing lines and image doubling
            by x_orange90_x
I got this tv yesterday and it shows a screen full of colored vertical bars and horizontal lines that move, change, and dance around. When the set is powered on there is a slight buzz from the tcon. I removed one ribbon at a time and this was the result:

Right side connected, left side disconnected = half image on right (somewhat distorted, see photo attached) white screen on left. NO buzzing from TCON

Left side connected, right side disconnected = right side black, left side white with distorted horizontal lines near top of screen. Buzzing from TCON

            I swapped...
