Have you tried searching for a schematic or service manual? I'd try, but you didn't bother giving a model number....

Channeling Wizard, somewhere on the back of the panel is a sticker listing the voltages the panel requires. Can you locate that? Then CAREFULLY check the power supply outputs to make sure it is producing those voltages.

Um, checked the fuses with your multimeter? (power cord unplugged!)

Can we get a better picture of the caps please?

I wonder if this is the same as my Akai 42" PDP4273m.

All but just the ones you can photograph from the side easily. Like in Pic 1 just the main caps (big ones) and in the other two I'm interested in the ones you can easily photograph.

Ok, you've got a mix of G-Luxon and Samwha caps. Both known garbage brands. Can you take pics of the two big black caps too?

Chances are those caps are dry failed. You will probably need to replace them.

...and no, it's not the same as my Akai I need to fix. Mine has a MFG date from 2006.

Another observation I have made is the hot and cool heat sinks is this okay ? or should they bothhttps://www.badcaps.net/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=13443&stc=1 be equally hot ?

A cold heatsink indicates the mofsets are not attached but that's not important now.

You're also going to have to change the "SamYoung" primaries. Someone here said that it is a lot cheaper to buy primary caps off of eBay as opposed to digikey.

In any case, if you decide to change the caps, follow the instructions in my post here:
                          https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showpo...65&postcount=3

And also note the series. If there is no series then list the maximum temperature it should be 85c or 105c.

                          Good luck.

                                  Hello everyone!

Please help me determine which microcontroller was in this place.
Logically, I guess that this is a ddr4 PWM memory controller and some kind of Richtek, but which one?
Thise motherboard came after another service, where they say that water got on the controller and it burned down and they dismantled it.
They did not take photos before the intervention

The DANJLFMBAB0 REV B board, schematics, boards and photos of the motherboard were not found on the network, but I may have searched badly-((
Maybe someone has a photo of this piece,...

Opened TV cover & observed foll
                                  a) Green LED on the small PCB blinks at @5-6sec ON & off for 3-4 secs. Red LED on logic board ON
b)Vs & Va on power supply board raises momentarily to 209v & 58v resp & then drops.
                                  c) Cold test on Y-main board shows all 3 pins of FGPF4536 IGBT short to Grnd.

                                  Hi,
anyone able to provide the service manual for old plasma Panasonic TX-P42ST50E?
It turns off almost immediately (0~5 seconds after pressing the on/off button) and starts flashing the red diode 6 times.
I disconnected the left-hand side board (SC?, both the ribbon cable and the power cable to it) and also another ribbon going to bottom left board. Then the led signal is 8 flashes. According to service guide to another Panasonic plasma it would mean the left-hand side board is faulty. But I'm not sure it 100% applies to my model.
I checked that board for any obvious faults...

Picked up a bahemoth plasma TV not too long ago and just now getting around to looking at it.
No picture but you hear the TV static (white noise) playing loud and clear.
The back was already taken off (and no screws were provided) as the previous owner had already taken a look.
But it seems they didn't get too far and just left it.

When I first took a look I was amazed at how pristine the inside looked.
Its as if the TV had been in a time capsule.
Caps looked like they were just pulled off the self.
Copper coils had no sign of corrosion on...

Hi all, i'm asking all to reduce photos to a more comfortable resolution before post, the better like around 2000x2000, otherwise many PC / Tablets / phones refuses often to load them or has strong defection... today's digital cameras integrated in phones especially are a mockery because them saves photos at enormous resolutions with much less the real definition, so reducing them is only a good deal.. THANKS!!...
