Vizio 65 LCD grey vertical bars

hi

i have a Vizio 65 LCD that has great picture but has 4 vertical grey bars on the right half of the screen...

they do not change..i tried swapping the ribbon cables..no change

if i tap on the tcon board or tap on the bonded panel tabs the bars stay the same

this makes me think it could be tcon issue or bad panel

any input?

I replaced tcon and the vertical grey bars did not change...i have to assume lcd panel is trash

I tried tapping on bonded tabs in those areas and the bars do not change at all

Does anyone know if this could possibly be a main board video processing issue or should i assume its a lcd panel problem?

panel had damage, actually the damage could be visible if you remove the screen bezel

Yes i removed bezel earlier..and..I found issue...4 of the ribbon cables to panel were torn....poor design...where its bonded it got cut on the sharp edge of the lcd panel...and tabs are on bottom of panel not top...which doesnt help...if it was on top it would happen since the gravity pushes panel away from ribbon cable...

Tv will be tossed in trash

You can thank the cheap poor design of lcd tvs for helping landfills getting bigger

You can try a.fix, follow on this page the advice i gave to TV HELP, hoping at least you understand me...it a very simple concept..

Fix?..how do you possibly fix torn lcd panel ribbon cables?...please do explain.

Sorry, are them detached? Or cut? I don't know exactly how them appears.
