Hi
I was after some advice. My mates panasonic 55AS802b has a pink tint to it especially noticeable on a white background.
We have ran the lcd pattern test and all the other colours are fine apart from the white which is pink.
My question is, can this be altered via the service menu through the whitebalance section r-gain g- gain etc?
Is it the lcd screen or the backlights going faulty?
from the service manual it states The test pattern is created by the circuit in LCD Panel.
In LCD Panel test mode, this test pattern is displayed unaffected by signal processing for RF or input signal.
If the normal picture is displayed, LCD Panel must be okay and the cause of failure must be in A board.
(I assume its the lcd from the back of the tv through the vents the backlights do look pinkish)
Any advice would be appreciated (My phone will not allow me to upload any photos at the moment)
